Vault 95 - White Blurry Texture Glitch
I don't know why, but I can't look at video game glitches without itching everywhere and twitching. I am LITERALLY scared sh*tless from glitches, and this thing almost made me punch my screen. How can I fix this? I don't have any texture altering mods.

Although, I have around 60 mods. Mostly weapon and armor mods. With occasional utility and lightning improvements.

I tried disabling ELFX but it didn't work. Any help? I can't play this game without fixing it. I'm still shaking.

It looks like one of your mods may have somehow removed a wall. The white void you're seeing is what is typically outside the walls of an interior zone. I've actually found a door in one interior area that was unlocked and let me look into the void when it should have been locked.

It's unfortunate because you have so many mods, but you may need to disable them all, then re-enable them one at a time until you figure out which one is the culprit. Either that, or just leave that place and never return.

I don't have a mod like that. Around 45 of those 60 mods are just weapons.

Wow. I saw this for the first time yesterday at the Mechanist lair. I've played 2000+ hours and not seen it until yesterday.
I wonder if its because of some NVIDA update? Buffout 4 came up with nothing when it finally crashed. And I was able to play just find after I restarted the game.

But he is right, is the problem. Come to terms with this, and then start your troubleshooting. Whether or not you did it, whether or not you're using a repackaged or combined mod set (xEditing allows for lots of fun; incomplete, incompatible fun), this is missing.

When you're seeing the "tripping balls trails" and you didn't 'tcl' and go outside though a mesh outisde worldspace and looking back against the face normals? Then something was removed that you need.

Sadly we're all quite aware of this effect!

Wait you allow nvidia to auto-update your GPU driver on your main gaming system? Are you insane? :mllrmask:

But Buffout4 is one of the crashiest crashies I've ever installed, and I love DUST on FNV... it wants so many overrides and native dlls and it's own local visualc runtimes and the tbb memory allocation dlls and and and... just eff buffout, dude. Don't blame anything you ever see on nvidia if you've got buttout4 installed. over 650 pages of complaints, 10k + posts, but sure it's stable.[www.nexusmods.com]

(edit: ha! buttout. an actual freudian slip, I was thinking, wow this mod is crap when I typed it. I'm leaving it, cuz itz teh stinky butt mod.)

It's a conflict caused by a mod (s). Has nothing to do with Nvidia.

And OP, you should not let video games effect you that much. They are just games. I mean, is your lively hood ( you know, the real important stuff like housing and food. ) dependent on you playing Fallout 4 well?

It isn't something like that. I only play video games when I'm not studying, at school, out with friends, or working out. Thanks for your concern anyway. But the "phobia of glitches" comes from my childhood. Something about the unexpected and the unnatural really triggers a fight or flight response in me.

go in the console and type TPC
this should fix the problem, however, it is not a permanent solution. (you have to type it every time you visit the place).

however, wtiger27 is right, it's probably a mod conflict causing it.

you could try updating your GPU drivers, verifying the game files or disabling your mods one or two at a time to see if you can find the one causing it. but other than that i dunno what else to do.

you could maybe try this mod but it's huge, 4.5 gigs, but it fixed a lot of areas for me, like downtown.

###THIS#### does solve some wall glitching as a first port of call finding a fix.

That wall is often buggy. I don't have graphic effects on in the launcher except HBAO+ and that bug predates that setting. I think it's due to the proximity of the stairs, the size of the wall and the angle the wall is being viewed at.

Maybe the wall hides a space that was planned to be open. But the plan was dropped and a wall plonked in. Somehow that introduced the graphics glitch.

It could also be a cpu overload or result of scrapping (unlikely imo).

Here is a list of many not all as claimed console commands.

Try toggling TPC.

TPC doesn't work. And I also doubt it's CPU overload. My gaming rig is good enough.
