Lockpicking screen not showing up

When I go to lock pick something it just shows a blurry screen as it normally would but it doesn't show the lock or the pins, what do I do

What resolution is your screen?
Non-widescrren monitors have a reso not supported and do what you are describing. So just asking if this applies to you :)

Hier die lösung freunde :

1. geht in eurem Fallout 4 ordner
2.Edit My Documents\My games\Fallout 4\Fallout4.ini
- findet folgenden eintrag

"sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\,"

- nun ändert ihr den eintrag in folgendes :

"sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, INTERFACE\"

dann geht ihr in den bereich : [Interface] und tragt folgendes einfach nach : ( gerne auch einfach nur kopieren aber ohne die anführungszeichen !!!!


-"fLockPositionY=100.0000"

-"fUIPowerArmorGeometry_TranslateZ=-18.5000"

-"fUIPowerArmorGeometry_TranslateY=460.0000"

3. dann bitte in der Fallout4Prefs.ini
( in " C:\Users\Benutzer\Documents\My Games\Fallout4" und "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout4" das eintragen) :

bTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1024
iSize W=1280

3. Game starten und schlösser sehen :)

Hoffe konnte helfen und es funzt bei euch auch .....


Ich habe auch nichts von anderen sachen genutzt wie Rates auf 60 reduzieren oder so oder andere tools oder Modes verwendet bei mir sind es nur diese veränderungen und keine anderen sachen also ein cleanes game

Your solution is the best I have tested, as it works without any modification of the image and it's now successfully back in fullscreen on a 4:3 ; 1024x1280 monitor !
I was quite bored by my windowed game, but I hadn't found any other way to play... until today !
So : Well done mate ! ;)

I resume for the non-german :

1 - Edit My Documents\My games\Fallout 4\Fallout4.ini
2 - replace "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\," by : "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, INTERFACE\"
3 - Go on the section [Interface] bellow in the same file and add the following strings :

fLockPositionY=100.0000
fUIPowerArmorGeometry_TranslateZ=-18.5000
fUIPowerArmorGeometry_TranslateY=460.0000

4 - Edit the two "Fallout4Prefs.ini" files in these places : " C:\Users\Name-of-the-User\Documents\My Games\Fallout4" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout4"
5 - Replace the following strings with these values :

bTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1024
iSize W=1280

Done, now it works in 1024x1280 fullscreen and you see the lockpicks !

This worked for me aswell
