"The time has already been slowed down" comes up in the upper left Corner in the Area around Policestation in Camebridge.
Hello you Guys :) I'm playing F4 at the time, I'm writing this and i fast-travelled to the Camebridge Policestation to complete a Quest for the Botherhood. But in Front of the Policestation is a small Area, where the time gets slown down. And I don't know, why there is a Slow Motion Area in front of the Station. Can anyone help/explain me ? May this be caused by a mod ? Thank you guys in advance :)

Busy area, College Square just to the north has hordes of Feral Ghouls and more in the subway station underneath, same cell, you hear gunfire from raiders there too.

No, I didn't mean it that way, but thank you for responding so quickly :) It doesn't begin to lag, when I walk around there, the Screen gets like a dark filter put on, the music in the radio gets sped up and in the upper left corner, it says: "The time has already been slowed down". And I don't know why :/

If you mean in the courtyard walking up to the door of the police station, yes there is a fps drop there, not slow motion, but drops to 48-50fps walking to the door, and when you walk away from the door.

Any activity is usually a bit away up the road.

There are several area's in the game where there are fps drops for no apparent reason, just looking one way in a couple of area's can cause it.

It's just a foible (Look it up, I did for the spelling) of the game engine I guess.

Well I wrote all that and didn't see this............

"The time has already been slowed down"........... I have no idea what that is, I have never seen it.

oh that foible, (was in skyrim too outside player house in whiterun ) caused by the light reflections from oil drum fire lights.

Thank you both for your comments :)
I guess, I have to live with that ^^ It doesn't give me any disadvantages in the game,
I just never saw this before. At first I thought, it was a perk, that accidentally got activated, but then I realised, this isn't Skyrim ^^

I still think, it could be a mod, causing that problem, but anyways, as I said - thank you both for responding and trying to help me, I really appreciate that :) I'll try fixing this by disabling one mod at a time, maybe this will help...

Thanks again and have a nice day ;-)

i have the same effect i do belive its cause by the weathermod NAC since it only occurs during certain lightningstorms so if you have NAC aswell then voila

Why do you care if it is? If it helps others having the issue ( which you wouldn't know if they are or not ) then it is good to post on it again.

And I have never had this issue the OP is referring to. But I use no mods and have weapon debris turned off and god rays on medium. This is after my close to 700 hrs play time.

Apologies for the necro, but this is the first post that comes up when I searched for this on Google. After going over this, I figured it out.

It's a special type of Radstorm from Natural and Atmospheric Commonwealth (NAC)[www.nexusmods.com] Here's the solution as of 0.9.1b:

  • Open the NAC Settings holotape
  • [Weathers]
  • [Enable & Disable Weathers]
  • [Show Radstorm Weathers List]
  • Change [Time Warp is: ON] to [Time Warp is: OFF]

NAC seems to have a lot of conflicts even this far past the thread's date, it affects quite a few things in a not-great manner apparently. one necro approved, since that mod is a culprit that is still in use for a lot of people.
