How exactly do i install the 'awkcr' mod from Nexusmods manually?
I am trying to install the awkcr mod (armor and weapon keywords community resource) mod that I downloaded manually from Nexusmods. I am trying to use it with the armorsmith mod. Problem is, there's nothing in the readme about how to actually install the awkcr... I'm using the .esm file from the 'noDLC' folder and moved it into the 'mods' folder within fallout 4's 'mod' folder because I only own the Far Harbour DLC - the only options are the 'alldlc' or 'nodlc' so I figured 'nodlc' was the better option? Is that right or should it be 'allDLC?' I put the file from the 'data' folder from the mod into the 'data' folder in the fallout 4 'data' folder and I also put the 'awkcr - far harbor.esp' file from the 'patch' folder and put it in fo4's 'mods' folder... That's all I can see that needs to be done... Am I missing something? or doing something wrong? After this I tried enabling the armorsmith mod but it still says it requires something that's missing... The only requirement I see in the details of the mod is the awkcr... So what am I doing wrong?? Should I be downloading this mod from somewhere else maybe? All the other mods I'm using (or trying to use) are from Bethesda's official site adn the in-game mods section in the options, but I haven't seen any awkcr mod there so I used nexus for that...

Any help will be really appreciated. Thank you.

Why are you installing mods manually? Get a Nexus account, install NMM, press three buttons and it installs.

Just curious, but why aren't you using the Nexus Mod Manager? It makes downloading mods so simple.

For the mod though, if you don't have all the DLC, you download the NoDLC version and then download the patches for the mods you do have.

You're just better off using NMM. That way you can also manage load orders and keep track of what you've installed much more easily.

Just go to NMM mod page and click the big green plus sign it will let you DL it into the page.
Or above extract file straight into Game Data Folder or use Wrye Bash.
