combat animations

saw my settler flipping and salmming down a raider

how do i trigger these animation myself?
i only do the pistol whip

Pretty sure you have to be in third person view, to be able to do it. But I can't remember if you need a perk to trigger it. The pistol whip happens for both sides in first person view combat, that's the reason gunners or raiders always bash you and don't whipe the floor with you. lol

Third person, not in power armor, target must be a human (possibly a non-feral ghoul) also not in power armor, and you using an unarmed weapon. That is how you get the unarmed animations. For melee weapon animations, the same is true just with a melee weapon equipped instead of an unarmed weapon.

I think there is a single one for power armor, if you are doing the above and wielding a knife.

no, you get the animation with mostly every melee weapons and also with most guns, even with a missile launcher.

dunno why it's said unarmed, no need to be unarmed, whatever weapon you use you can trigger this animation randomly when hiting the enemy , as long a you're in 3rd view and not in power armor.

i guess we're talking about the tackle down animation.

i played meele build ealry game but i got no animaion in vats or tps

is there a mod that increases the frequency?
