Usually custom items are then named something that will put them at the top of the list so they are easy to find after that. 111aaa or what ever.
To add it to the game world just drag and drop it into the game world window. Double click item once its there to move to exact position.
I´ll definetly play around with that and see if it works.
Thanks in advance :D
Duplicate and retexturing is alot easier, then can still rename the in world name and change the stats.
Adding custom meshes to the game is just something i dont know to much about.
Ill just have to try. I mean whats the worst that can happen haha.
I just added the scarf to the game which is barely noticeable because i color matched it to the armor from Far Harbour. (Whats his name is wearing Kellogs armor in my game now since thats ok looking armor and Kellog barely uses it, used the CK to let the Hunters Coat be used by the player)
The scarf is already in the game with a mesh and texture and everything and it fits well with nearly all armor. It just was not finished.
Found Caits bandolier and duplicated it.
Renamed the item to 111aaascarf, and in game to Travelers Scarf and added some rad resistance since in the sim the character can use it to protect from the elements a bit if needed. Chose neck for the slot.
Then i went to armor addons and duplicated Caits bandolier there and renamed it to 111aaa and then just chose the mesh i extracted out of the meshes folder and added to the data/meshes/armor/metal folder as a loose file.
The screen shows what it looks like and it adds a touch of armor and something that was already in the game mostly is usable.
Left it in the Molerat den under the Red Rocket to get it in game. Maybe should add a few for companions.
