can't change resolution?
so i'm having issues with my resolution, figured someone on here would know how to fix it.

so on the launcher I cant change the resolution as nothing comes up, so I tried manually changing the resolution in the falloutpref file as well as a couple other things, but that didn't change anything. curious to know if anyone has any idea to fix this. thanks!

Would help to know what resolution you're attempting to use. And your system specs.

my tv is 1824 x 1014, but for 99% games I run 1600 x 900

Have you tried it in the Start Up Menu > Options > Graphics? Tried running in Windowed/Borderless? With that, you need to make sure your desktop display size is set to 100% and the game settings in the Start Up menu, matches the tv resolution.

Couple of unintelligible spammers in this thread.

1. Go to My documents>My Games>Fallout4
2. There you will find a file called "Fallout4Pref.ini"
3. Open with a text editor and under the first subsection titled "[Display]" you will find two values for your client resolution size named "iSize H=1080" and "iSize W=1920" for example.
4. Change these values to the appropriate ones for your needs, save, exit and then set the file to read-only in the file properties.
