Many companys now are releasing new RTX upgrades of their games like Wild Hunt etc.
Its possible? the company could be working on RTX upgrade for Fallout 4?
Giving promotion for Fallout 5 so with Starfield coming in 2023 maybe in 2024
new RTX upgrade for Fallout 4? or get early surprize?

Would people buy Fallout 4 RTX upgrade? game looks great and would be even better
if they did. how much should the upgrade cost?

Should never cost anything extra.

It looked great on my 8 year old I7 4770 and GTX 1650 Super. Just as good as it does now on my RTX 3060 Ti. graphics set to max on both, with the exception of Godrays on Med. The only difference is in some very busy areas, with lots of enemies on the screen at the same time, the RTX is a little smoother.

I use Nvidia's HBAO+ setting on both. Which does make a very noticeable improvement to how the light effects work on the surface of objects.

You would need to do some major graphic overhauls for the game to take advantage of the extra capablities of the RTX card. That is not going to happen. As soon as Beth gets Starfield finished for release, they will be working not on just patches for it, but will turn most of their focus on ES6.

For those who want a better looking game, there are mods which do such. I am fine with how Fallout 4 looks. On my computers, it looks damn good now.

I been on here for a long time. Unlike others, his threads do not bother me. If they do you, then do not read them and certainly do not waste your time making a post in one.

Just let modders make RTX mod, it'll happend eventually, bethesda can't even remaster skyrim, while modders can transform a bethesda game to a fans dream game

nope not gonna happen. I will point this out to everyone when it seems they are not aware. You're right in that most of the times it's innocuous and irrelevant who created the thread, once the conversation gets going, but I'm still going to point it out. Lots of us do, actually. Goes in cycles, and various groups. Pretty suure he can't post on Cyberpunk 2077 currently because I think he's got a week suspension, so he's back to his old haunts.

But of course if my pointing that out bothers you, you know where the ignore user button is...

There are already plenty of mods for improving performance as well as appearance of the game. No need for this, and definitely no need to pay for it. People with the knowledge of how to work with the game's code as well as figuring out the video card info, already are on this. I wouldn't trust the video card makers to do this to save their lives.

It dos not brother me you are wasting your time. But it is your time and your complaints about the OP in this thread will do nothing of any importance.

He actually has had some threads which have brought up some interesting topics for discussion.

"Some," threads. More like millions, he does this in multiple game forums, I've looked.

im on a RTX 2070 Super, and the game runs like absolute garbage. dont lump everyone into the "works out of the box" category. i have to play fo4 on less than medium settings, my old 1070ti, could atleast do godrays. rtx cant even do godrays. dont go acting like you are actually enjoying fallout with your settings turned way down.

Where did you get I am playing the game on low settings? Did you even read my post to see that....the settings on my old system and new are all maxed out? Ultra, with distance draws set to max. The only exception is Godrays are on med on both. Not because of performance issues, but I do not like how it looks on any setting above med.

My old system's GPU system by the way is a GTX 1650 Super. If you are having issues with performance on a RTX 2070 Super, then the issue is not the game.

Lol. Millions? Come on. Get realistic. And so what if he has? That is not my concern. If his post is of interest, I respond. If not, I don't.

Hi pal
Company can sell vast amount on new consoles to with RTX.
If the game was better i would def buy. Hope does come out.
Zekiran May 25, 2022 @ 5:09pm
It would not be cost effective because by the time any company would be doing this ---

the card would be out of date and useless on newer ones.

Which is why they aren't doing this. The game hasn't been updated in years and years. There's zero - ZERO - reason for them to do it now, when a simple tweak to the ini files will fix any issues.

They're not going to make the game over again for some specific thing that only a VERY few people would get any benefit from. People wouldn't buy it just BECAUSE they have the video card, and they certainly can't just jump out and buy the cards for a game like this if it did update - because the video cards... are super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ expensive, and very hard to get a hold of thanks to cryptocrud.

I don't think there is ever going to be such an upgrade anyways, nor is it possible with the current engine used.
It's an old game which was developed on an even older engine.
RT would require a remake, which is probably not going to happen.

But no, I wouldn't buy one. RT is overrated, and I think the impact on the performance would be insane, especially if you built large bases.
