Running the bases

I got to thinking sometime ago I guard said I should run the bases. I was too busy looking around as this was my first visit to Diamond City and I wanted to see it all. now I wounder if I missed a perk or something? Did you run them?

No perk or other in-game benefit for it. You do get a Steam achievement for doing so, however. The "Homerun!" achievement.

Did you have fun doing it? I ran it too then figured that the guards just like to have a laugh, "Oh you didn't get anything? Must not have done it right. Try again. *giggles*".

if you go to the BADFTL building the raider outside runs the bases I think.

it's just a steam achievments. funny story, i was in diamond coty and saw a kid running the bases and i was like, huh, "there's secret there, i remmeber that" and then i just ran the bases in my game and i was like , scratching my head, because i didn't get anything for it and then i googled it and oops. . i already got the achievment years ago and doing it again and couldn't remember why i did it.
