If I can run FO4, will I be able to play FO76 on PC?
This is by far my biggest worry, I have a ps4 pro next to me but ultimately would prefer to play on PC (until I upgrade in january/february) Game runs fairly well on high settings, should I be worried about FO76?

Internet is also more than fine.

We’re still working on compatibility testing and will share minimum and recommended PC specs as we get closer to the B.E.T.A start date. Stay tuned to @Fallout on Twitter and Facebook for the latest updates.

SO no idea where you found those requirements.

FNW looks as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as FO4 if not even worse so you should be fine at low-medium

OP - your specs look good enough to me for at least medium settings when taking into account this game and various MMOs. Whether it's medium-low, medium or medium-high depends on their optimization.

Other than that, when I asked about Fallout 4 and my GPU I was told I wouldn't be able to run it and I ran it on high before my last upgrade. So until the game specs and benchmarks come out, it's still speculation.

Bethesda website does not come up in any of the results on the first page.

This quote I gave is directly from the Bethesda website FAQ.

So like I said, I have no idea where you got that info from since the official website still says to be determined.

I said google, not bing. The first link does state its from bethesda.net

I also did not state they were official, but they are the ones being listed as the current minimum on various sites and on beth forums. Including game-debate.com etc.

If they update them or they are wrong so be it, they are just something to work from, as the game is still in beta, they are not set in stone, just like any game in beta.

"Current minium specs" as in some official specifications.

Then I said:

Then you act like the ones you posted were some reliable information. Which it aint because if you look at that link it goes to a forum topic with a bunch of trolsl guessing what they are. They evne said they were not official specifications.

Get snotty about it all you want, the simple fact is you are not giving out correct information. Simply because that information is not available.

I am not getting snotty. All I did was post the specs that are being listed at the moment on various sites not just forums again, game debate has those specs, pcgames, ign etc,

I never once said they were official, you asked where I got them, I simply replied I used google which is what I did. I simply answered your question.

I even said If they update them or they are wrong so be it, they are just something to work from, as the game is still in beta, they are not set in stone, just like any game in beta.

Your the one getting on your high horse and getting snotty for no reason, we are just discussing things, calm down man its not a big deal.

Just so we are all clear and to stop this backwards and forwads. I apologise If I gave some people the impression these were the official specs, I never actually stated they were the official specs, I simply stated where I got them from, they are simply the ones being posted about on game sites, various forums and that some people are using as a guideline. Feel free to totally ignore them.

Without looking at previous comments, I'd probably say: Maybe, and probably if you can run high-end well. From what I've seen thus far, it appears it will be much more intense than FO4 (Even downtown Boston) based on the quantity of trees, godray quantity, and structure size. At medium settings, you'll probably be able to get a consistant 60FPS, but maybe not above that. That's also not considering the fidelity of the shown textures are, which hits performance massively.

Shouldn't have an issue as the requirements really haven't changed much. Very slight visual differences.

You'll be surprised. Sometimes something as simple as a shader can cause issues if they change.

Borderlands vs borderlands 2, not all that could run the first could handle the second. Just because there were a few new effects and such

Don't know, Xbox1X can handle Fallout 4 pretty good with 4k textures, but it strugles with 1800P 30FPS on Fallout 76.

Could just be optimization, but even in the "Most optimized regions" of the game, around the Vault, it was relatively janky and unimpressive.

I'm predicting there will be about a one-grade increase in Processor/RAM/Graphics min and two-grades on recomended. Ending up looking like:

I5 4460, Ryzen 1500X , GTX 960/770, AMD R9 270, 16GB of Memory, ideally fast (2400 DDR3 or 2666+ DDR4) Medium/some High 30~60FPS 1080p

Rec, I7 6700k-Ryzen 1600X, GTX1070TI-Vega56, Same memory as minimum. Ultra 1080P, High/Medium 4k ~60FPS

Really, only people running around GTX 1050 level GPUs would suffer drops. A 1060 or RX 580 should have no issues whatsoever as I was able to play on maximum settings with an RX 580 and get at least 60 FPS the majority of the time.
