Look for mods on nexus that repair the menu structure. Or google fixes. Disabling the mod(s) that cause the problem won't work. Also look at the nexus pages for the menu mods that you have installed as there might be uninstall instructions there.

Here is an example, not guaranteed to work.

After you stopped using some mods you did load a save from before you added those mods or started a new game right?

i continued from my exit save, im thinking going from F4SE back to normal whehn F4SE broke has messed something up, because i loaded up a different save with a different name, and its the same, no furniture.

read what hawkeye posted, it is your only chance to get them back, it may or may not work

tried it, didn't work

then you have to start a new game

in the future do not remove mods from a playthrough.

Some menu mods inject the changes into the save (I think homemaker is one.). So removing them is tricky. This is explained on this mod's description page. The mod has a patch pack that might help. It also mentions furniture. (Homemaker also has patches I think).

ive turned mods on and off for months with no problems, im not using F4SE though if each update will break it, since thats the only major thing ive done, and now this happened

1) don't update Fallout there is no reason to, there are many posts here that tell you how to not allow steam to update your exe

2) yes some mods can be removed, if you do not know what kind can it is best to not do it

a) you can always remove mods that are just texture and/or mesh replacers
b) you can remove most mods that do not have scripts (but not all)
c) you cannot remove mods with scripts unless the mod author says you can and you exactly follow his uninstall instructions

Use Settlement Menu Manager mod. This will repair your menu.

IF FO4E is broken you have to wait for it to be updated. any mod dependent by it will break your game. check nexus for an updated on.
