Rockets red glare vertibird/prydwen bug.

When approaching the Prydwen with tom and deacon the Prydwen does not appear above boston air port, in fact its not anywhere. The vertibird will sometimes turn to the right away from away from where the Prydwen should be and go forever in that direction even clipping through the ground and out of the world. I've tried loading prior saves and restarting the game I cant find anything online about this specific bug. I cannot get the quest to work properly, you would think that bethesda would've worked out the gamebreaking bugs out of a main questline in their triple-A title.

I encountered the same issue....I couldn't believe to actually walk into such a gamebreaking bug for something that is more or less part of the main quest, I tried around and nothing worked. But then what fixed it for me is to go back to Fort Hagen and exit it through the roof, which I seemed to not have done earlier on. As soon as I did it, the Prydwen appeared and I could finish the quest.
