The ambush kit creation club security camera bug

I was testing out the security cameras in the ambush kit after having it for so long and fearing it when I first set it up at orbital station settlement and went back to my player home of the condo it worked perfectly well and I didn't get the time skip bug so I decided to set it up in a few more settlements but as soon as I did and went back to test them out none of them worked anymore.

I'm curious if there's a way around this annoying error or is it just there to leave this part of the creation club kit alone?

afaik they fixed the time skip bug, personally I never really bothered with the cameras, what really interested me in the pack was the super cool walls and the base raid system

Granted that's what interested me as well, but I tested out the camera system today and on one settlement it worked but as soon as I tried more than one it busted for some reason and I don't know why?

The only difference I noticed between the other settlements and the first one I tested the cameras on is some of them are connected to light poles, arcade cabinets, settler recruitment beacons, the soda fountain, and Marquee sign.

I decided to go back to a previous save and start setting up new cameras in my settlements and so far they've all worked so I don't really connect them to massive power grids just to prevent this glitch, and I know it's a few weird things happen when you use the cameras settlers were all pile up in one area behind you, if you're wearing power armor you can sometimes hear the power armor hitting the ground sound effect, companions will run to the place your viewing in the cameras.

One thing I wish the cameras could do is rotate a bit when you're viewing them.

Works fine with me. Annoying thing is when I get shot up for some reason. Came out of the view mode with a crippled leg. I use better followers to make them mortal, and I give all the girls ballistic armour.

Casualties are rare, usually I'm able to place 4 heavy lasers near spawn points so they get cut up. Wish they'd loot the legendary pieces for me.

I mainly use the cameras just to watch my settlers from the comfort of my player home of the Bunker Hill condo (which I believed I was going hated but I actually like it because I bought it with the 3 real estate pack) like a creepy landlord
