game won't start because of buffout 4.

So I installed buffout 4 to help better run more mods and stuff but everytime I try to start the game it says buffout 4 loaded to late and to change the plugin load order. I installed buffout 4 through vortex and manually but I can't seem to figure out what to do can someone help?

Not all of Buffout 4's requirements can be installed with a mod manager. Some must be installed manually.

If you previously installed F4SE, Intel TBB Redistributable, and xSE PluginPreloader using your mod manager, then they're not installed properly since these files belong in your Fallout4 game folder. Your mod manager will put these files into your DATA folder, which is INCORRECT

I did install them manually even buffout at first. I also tried the renaming load order for dll thing and it still didn't work.

You might have to install / reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019.

That guide I linked in my previous post is the exact thing I followed to get mine working. If you're having trouble here, I'd suggest re-checking every single requirement and make sure it's installed properly.

Also, since Buffout 4 requires F4SE, you MUST launch the game using the F4SE launcher, and NOT the default one. Make sure you're doing this.

Microsoft Bundled the 2015-2019 Redistributable, so just download the installer and you'll be good to go.

Just a wild hunch... have you installed the game recently and now experience a crash? Are you using an Nvidia card?

If you have an Nvidia card then disable Weapons Debris in the game's launcher. See under the options there.

One can also use Nvidia's GeForce Experience and let it optimise the game's settings for one's hardware. This will disable Weapons Debris, enable NVHBAO+, and allows for a range of settings from quality to performance, and also lets one set the desired resolution.
