U.S.S. Constitution bug... ironside's in a loop, will not give me the captain's quarters

I've finished everything and gone up to the top to talk to Ironsides and he says I can have the captain's quarters, but then nothing happens when he's done talking. The room isn't owned by me and if I talk to him again he says the same things again as if I had just gotten back to the ship. Does anyone know a fix for this?

No, there isn't a fix unfortunately. Bethesda didn't actually expect anyone to use it because of its impracticality. Also, have you finished the quest yet? I thought he was supposed to give you that line of dialogue after crashing into the Weatherby Investment Trust

I don't think you ever 'own' the room. I think you just get to sleep in the bed for the Well Rested bonus.

Well, boo. Resisted looting the place, ran tons of errands and all I get is an old hat and an invitation to sleep in his bed. Well, it's not too late for looting I suppose. >:-)
