I do apologize for being snappish. I've had a particular time irl, and I'm pretty much at my wits end with this. I'm not *trying* to be rude, though I know I am. I'm not making excuses, I'm just frustrated and exhausted.


The sex mods are NOT what I am asking for help with. I cannot be any more clear about this: it is the ADVANCED ANIMATION FRAMEWORK like I said in the topic title. Everything else is entirely meaningless if I can't get the base that everything is built off of to work, and it's not my fault that today's modern society latches onto and freaks out disproportionately to speaking of anything NSFW publically, even if it's just an offhanded mention or entirely besides the point like it is here.

Now does anyone have any questions that could help me narrow down the problem? I have all of AAF's files installed in the correct locations, and it says the .esp is loaded, but when I turn on the debug mode to ensure it's loading properly nothing comes up, which means it is not. The only thing I can think of is that I read that NMM tends to screw up the installation in a "difficult to troubleshoot" was, and that in many cases NMM had to be entirely and manually uninstalled. So what am I doing wrong here?

Install ALL these mods with SKSE scripts and ini files manually. This inferior software NMM does sometimes fail to install the SKSE scripts/ini files. I do not even know why.

Doublecheck if all content is where it belongs afterward. It's a pain in the ass getting that running. I had the same problem.

I almost broke my keyboard during a rage fit, after I found out how many mods were installed incorrectly.

Sadly I tried that too. Three times in fact, twice after switching to Vortex, and once more after Mod Organizer 2. And I don't just mean the ones I'm trying to get to work. I mean ALL F4SE dependant mods I have, regardless of whether they worked or not (actually AAF is the only F4SE mod that isn't working at the moment, but I did them all to be doubly sure).

I know this is a super late reply, but here it is.....
Here's your entire problem. You say you can't get AAF to work, it's not showing up in MCM,and you're not after LL mods, yet Atomic Lust is just that. Specifically it is a set of animations.
AAF will not show up in MCM because it's not supposed to. You can't get the animations to play with AAF because you do not have a mod to trigger them. Atomic lust has to be triggered with a mod like AAF Violate, which is a LL mod.
Sorry to say but if you want to use AAF, you are going to have to d/l quite a few LL mods, or search for AAF animations and a mod to trigger those animations.

Not that I don't appreciate it, but I have looooong since ceased to care and would only like to know how to delete this entire topic of discussion because in hindsight it feels like a massive mistake asking random people for help. This is why I don't take to forums in the first place: the vast majority of people post either having no idea what I or they themselves are talking about, or just want to put their two cents in on a matter nobody cares about, and there's maybe one intelligent/useful person/post every 20 comments at best.

That is sad indeed. Not a fan a forums for the same reason and I only posted myself because I was searching for a solution to a problem when I came upon the constant ranting of questions and so called solutions that had nothing to do with the question you asked.
Not like they couldn't just explain that AAF is just a framework that requires animations and another mod to trigger it, they had to feel all intelligent explaining something that do not understand just to frustrate you further.
Perhaps next time people will actually take the time to help instead of confuse, berate, and frustrate you.

I have legitimately spend the last ten days trying to figure out how exactly I should explain to you that nearly every single word you just said is completely and utterly wrong, but the simple fact that this amount of bile managed to manipulate your hands into coherently slapping this much drivel onto the page tells me you had more than ample opportunity to realize the number of mistakes you were making, and/or take literally a single minute to fact check ANY of that.

I appreciate the gesture, but sometime after I gave up on AAF I sorta stopped playing Fallout 4 altogether. Whole experience soured me on it for a while, but now I'm soured on Doom Eternal and the fact that I can't in good conscience support a game where the publisher won't even let me access the TITLE SCREEN without registering an account for the online BS I'm probably never going to use, meaning one of the last fun and epic SINGLE player franchises has been sacrificed on the alter of mass multi-player ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Next game you'll have to give them your social security number just to install it, and you have to grind five levels of multiplayer to do the next story mission OR pay $5 to get it immediately (Bethesda gives you a *nudge nudge wink wink*).

for me there were two ini files that weren't done correctly, you need to go into those manually and turn -1 into 1, I don't know why but that fixed it for me

Bruh... which ones? Do you know? There's a few .ini files, I think 3? I tried variations and none worked with -1 or 1.

I don't think you should have it for that. Most of the other reasons are ok though.

Boredom, Money, a place to sleep. Food. Wagers. Ragers. Pagers? (Do they still have those?). Promotions. Transportation. Revenge. To get out of a relationship. Drugs (Can't believe I forgot Drugs). Spite. Love.

I am sure there are more. But the last thing you should be doing it for is to bring more people into being.

I wouldn't bother with this mod. I had it working once. The animations are poor, the game play poor and repetitious. Not worth it.
