...I didn't think I needed to elaborate, but okay. I am TRYING to use Atomic Lust from LoversLab, and a more recently released basic interface theme for AAF (Sex Animations Theme).

The site is censored cause steam doesnt want a the minors to know about it cause it wasnt censored then parents start sueing steam for having it not censored.

Did you install mcm and fallout 4 script extender as they are needed for it so you can setup the shortcut keys for it

I know that I just think it's stupid. Also I really don't care that much (which is why is was a PS I didn't expect anyone to actually respond to), I just want to know how to get this idiotic mod that has me tearing my hair out to WORK.

Among other things, the game recognizes and loads all the proper .esp files, but just doesn't use them as far as I can tell. I also don't think it really matters what mod you have installed on top of the framework, cause all of them I've found say the same thing as the default Framework mod: press the Home key to open the menu. Guess what the Home key does? NOTHING!

MCM and F4SE are installed, yes, but nothing of the sort appears in MCM (also I figured out I had F4SE installed wrong and redid EVERY SINGLE MOD that used it manually just to make doubly sure). The shortcut keys are set up by default though aren't they? I can't really figure out how to rebind them myself, and the link in the mod's readme that's supposed to show you how to is broken. (didn't see your edit before my last post)

Also, assuming this is the first time I looked for answers when I posted that I've been at this for TWO DAYS. Allow me to be clear: I TRIED looking for answers on LoversLab. I TRIED looking for answers on the Nexus. I TRIED looking for answers on Google, Reddit, other Steam discussions, EVERYTHING I COULD FIND, and still got nothing. I would not be asking if I hadn't exhausted all my other options.

I was GOING to ask on the Nexus, but the author of AAF disabled the bug submission page, and the comments page, presumably cause he knows how broken the mod is and he's sick of people asking. Also I can't figure out where the discussion page is on the Nexus (partly cause I'm exhausted), so if you have literally any advice that'd be useful, even if it's just pointing me to where I SHOULD ask, after I said I am totally out of ideas and at the end of my wit then that'd be much appreciated.

I do apologize for being snappish. I've had a particular time irl, and I'm pretty much at my wits end with this. I'm not *trying* to be rude, though I know I am. I'm not making excuses, I'm just frustrated and exhausted.

Now does anyone have any questions that could help me narrow down the problem? I have all of AAF's files installed in the correct locations, and it says the .esp is loaded, but when I turn on the debug mode to ensure it's loading properly nothing comes up, which means it is not. The only thing I can think of is that I read that NMM tends to screw up the installation in a "difficult to troubleshoot" was, and that in many cases NMM had to be entirely and manually uninstalled. So what am I doing wrong here?

The sex mods are NOT what I am asking for help with. I cannot be any more clear about this: it is the ADVANCED ANIMATION FRAMEWORK like I said in the topic title. Everything else is entirely meaningless if I can't get the base that everything is built off of to work, and it's not my fault that today's modern society latches onto and freaks out disproportionately to speaking of anything NSFW publically, even if it's just an offhanded mention or entirely besides the point like it is here.

In this case, I am able to understand it. There are some hefty mods on that side, that are even for adults pretty borderline.
