Need help with 'We Are The Minutemen' mod
I have taken the castle and completed old guns. I can use the We Are The Minutemen mods 'special' menu to create Minutemen followers and to place a flagpole. So the mod is working. But I cannot place a command center or a Minutemen barrier. I disabled my place anywhere, OC Decorator, scrap everything and no twigs mods. I tried the patch mod for scrap everything that mentions the castle. Nothing helps. The command center is supposed to be an actual crafting bench, correct?

Help?

Did you install this mod last? Is it last on the load order on the .esp notepad? If not then other mods may be in the way of it.

Learn to install manually because Fallout 4 can be anything you want with some practice. Got to start with the basics though.

These screens show only a fraction of a customized game. Takes alot of practice and trial and error to have a 100% stable, fully customized to your liking, game. Start with learning how to install manually or its pointless to try.

I did move it to last and it does not help. I only use about a dozen mods so I do install manually.

Try installing again everything carefully. It does help sometimes. I have had to install BS a few times.

You know to to do the plugins file? I have the plugins folder shortcut in a fallout 4 mods folder. Make shortcuts to everything. I have 7 shorcuts to various programs and folders and just drag them all to desktop if i want to do anything, quickly and easily.

C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Fallout4

Plugins - Notepad

Last on the list is the last loaded and wont be over written. What is shown here is the proper way and does work even if auto programs make it messy sometimes.

Edit the notepad then right click it and make it read only. Almost forgot. Thats what i do anyway.

I also got a copy of this pugins notepad renamed slightly in the same folder in case an update ever messes with it... Back up everything multiple times when your game is 100% stable and modded as it progresses.

Hey Bubblegum where are you allowed to create the minutemen followers??? I'm able to create the central command and craft minutemen via central command and the special menu but on the special menu there is no option for minutemen follower

You craft them at Central Command, they are placed in your inventory (Misc tab I think). THen you have to drop them out of your inventory. When they appear make a save, then reload that save.

In my special menu - as you scroll right - You see, central command, APC, tank, barriar, then minuteman - then flagpole then senior minuteman. Might not have that order completly correct. The minutemen you create this way are followers. They will follow you everywhere until they die or you 'scrap' them. But they cannot do anything else. They cannot be a settler. They are not the same as the central command ones.

Oh - just thought. Maybe you have the basic version. I have deluxe version.
Is the central command in the basic version also? If so, I will need to try that one. I do not need the followers, tank, etc.

I just tried the basic version of WATM. Where is the menu supposed to be to build the command center? With the basic version, I have no new special menus. Just the one to build a canon.

That feature is not included to Basic version. I am also using it.

I got quite enough from 3 timed MM quests at once.

I was messing around on here and I figured out a few things that might help people. So first you need to download and install Multiple Followers Overhaul - Tee Party Companions https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24081/? Once you do that and if you have already taken the castle follow the instructions on the mod. With Tee party I was able to use the Minuteman Central Command to create the Minuteman Guard and then I use Tee Party to recruit them/dismiss them and also trade with them.

Sorry, I was not subscribed to this thread.

I am using the advanced version. I have never used the build menu version, just the Central Command versions.
