I do remember you can manually adjust object quality distance settings which can have a big impact on more cpu bound performance issues.
I'ts in prefs.ini
[TerrainManager]
fTreeLoadDistance=75000.0000
fBlockMaximumDistance=250000.0000
fBlockLevel2Distance=110000.0000
fBlockLevel1Distance=90000.0000
fBlockLevel0Distance=60000.0000
you can take those down pretty far, like 90k, 60k, 20k, 5k
I've already lowered these settings by modifying the .ini manually, but I need to lower the texture quality from ultra to at least medium.
Is there an easy way to link the folders?
The only thing from the lighting that has serious effect on the performance are the godrays iVolumetricLightingQuality controls the intensity of it 0 is lowest 2 is highest
bVolumetricLightingEnable disables it if put on 0.
I guess I'll have to move back the files in the default path, hopefully it'll work.
