Castle Armory Mission bugged
Ronnie shaw Never goes down to the castle tunnels
She just walks in the same spot outside
The mission can't be completed without here because i need her to access a terminal to open a door. is there any command i can use or any fix for this?
(i do have some mods installed)

You might still need to talk to preston to activate it. Check your quests and make sure everyone has been spoken to.

Make sure that you've entered workshop mode and cleared out the debris, and that there's power to the area?

Yeah after i remove the debris she just gets out of the castle instead of going down the steps to the castles tunnels

What happens if you go through the door into the basement? Does she show up next to you by chance?

if you removed the debris blocking the tunnel before you started the quest it can break the quest , and in the pip boy> data> quests it is checked right ? you can always fast travel away sleep a day and come back , that fixes a lot of bad quest behavior

i didn't remove the debris before but i will surely try out the fast travel and sleep method thank you
Also i can just open the armory door without going in the tunnel is that normal?

no you should'nt be able to do that , it has to done via the completion of the quest , you can also reload a save before you started the quest , fast travel to the castle save , then reload the save your trying to use now , that might reset the quest (long shot)

congratulations, you have noticed a tremendous bug. I opened the armory door without the help of Ronnie during my first playthrough therefore almost breaking the minutemen quest of the playthrough -- Ronnie won't show up, had to manually spawn her, won't follow down to the tunnel, couldn't collect the key for the general's quarter.

during my second playthrough I didn't open the armory door and wait for her announcement via the freedom radio while completing one or two settlement quests, and this is how it is supposed to work.

therefore, DONT open the armory door until you are inside the armory with Ronnie and open the door from the inside. you might want to load your save (hopefully you have made one) before fighting in the castle.

Oh god lol i opened the door so early in my playthrough i thought it was normal if i go back to a save from that time if i even have one which i probably don't i will lose about 6-7 hours of playtime but i guess i have to. in a way i'm relieved because now i know the problem i reall appreciate you and everyone who helped <3
