Underground Undercover - Desdemona Bug

Ive been scouting the internet and forums on steam and it appears the only way to fix this bug of Desdemona not talking to you is to load up a previous save before talk to Z1 synth, use the console command and then go back and talk to the synth....

however I have tried that and still to no avail.

Ive tried the following

000508ee.moveto player (Nothing happens to Glory)
recycleactor (Nothing happens even when Ive already clicked on Glory and it shows her 000508 code)
prid 000508ee (nothing)

Then I tried this

Kill (to kill glory)
resurrect (she comes back nekkid ;-) ) but still this dont work

None of the console fixes are working for me and Im now stuck on this mission about warning her about the BoS. Ive even had father telling me I have to kill Des and gone back and told her this and told her I wont follow through. She tells shes flattered and keep working with the synths blah blah blah, but still cant WARN her as she wont engage in that conversation.

I thought all this was supposed to be fixed but I guess not....

Anyone got any suggestions? Other than me going on a rampage and killing everything in the institute? Dont wanna kill father if it can be avoided. Hes an old man...and my son :)

Sorry to see you're getting no help with this.

I completed this quest a little time ago with no issues. I realise that's no comfort for you, but I'd like to offer some suggestions.

The problem with using so many console commands is that you really can't be sure what they've done to your game and what you should try next when they don't work. So I think one option that might get you past this issue would be a study of quest stages on the wiki.

Then go back to a save before the quest started and try again - but check each stage completes properly by using the sqs (show quest stages) command. If you find the quest gets stuck, you can force it on with setstage.

Only suggestion I can think of I'm afraid - hope it helps :)

Surfblastedtoo - Many thanks for replying. I think its a glitch in the game as when I started a quest for the Institute, it warned me that I would make enemies with the Brotherhood. I wasnt fussed on them (BoS) anyway so I followed the quest. Then I went to Cambridge for a few kicks and decided to have a battle with the BoS guys including Paladin Danse. I killed everyone in Cambridge and then continued on with both side quests and main storylines.

Scouting the net for solutions it appears I may have "broken" the game by doing this but the glitch allows you to do this and its only later you find out this is not what you should have done. (Dodgy programming on Bethesda's part)

So ater all my research Im coming to the awful realisation that....

A= I can kill father and then make some enemies in the institute which will automatically fail and end the quest "End of Line".....or

B=Go really far back and then do the quests again but this time not do a premtive strike on the BoS at Camrbidge.

Im guessing A is the only option thats feasible for now as otherwise I will be playing this forever... lol

BoS - wanna kill all synths and steal tech
Minutemen - Not bothered who you side with and are your mates regardless
Railroad - Want synths to live with humans side by side
Institute - Wanna enslave synths and rule over humans

So, kinda doesnt help my bug with the game dude....lol

Update - Yup no other way to move on from this other than kill either her or father. So I'd killed her well and truly. Only way it moved on. Damn thing.
