Areas are having a weird blue/purple glow...

Areas are having a weird blue/purple glow, almost like a blacklight, this shows up around glowing fungus and some interior areas. I already tired the usual culprits, Vault 1080 and my lighting mods, but nothing changed it.

Did you change a light color on your power armor or pipboy?

I've noticed my pip-boy light has a purplish tinge now though it is set for white.

I'm wondering if the update to the crafting highlighting fix might have done something. Do you use that as well?

It's only around some internal light sources, if I knew how to post screenshots I would.

As long as the steam overlay is enabled (is by default) press F12 button to take a screenshot, then right click Fallout 4 in your library>view screenshots then upload them to your profile. You can then either give a link here to them or just direct people to your screenshots.
You will have to make your profile public to view to enable people to see your screenshots.

I haven't played because I have had to work and had no time, now I have some time and I'd like to fix it before I use some of my limited game time on it.

Did you ever find the culprit of the glowing? I have no lighting mods and my Pip-Boy is on the default color. I encountered them around some mushrooms, but I'm unable to pick them up. I found them during the Reunions quest.

A minor note: I'm on Linux, playing this game through Proton 7.0.6.
