Why, he is as tall as he was in FO3, he is as camp as he was in FO3, and still gets all the best lines.

He's not my favourite Prime, but he's okay as Primes go.

It's anoying for me that after he returns to the airport he cannot be shut down or put on standby therefore creating too much noise. While there i have to change my auto setteing each visit.

Maybe there's a mod for that, or our generous mod authors will make a mod for that o.O

Or a console command? anyone

It's annoying to me that such a big walking target manages to be successful once again. The thing violates every principle of warfare, and manages to get away with it. I'm sure the little kiddies love it to pieces, but, honestly, it sucks.

Explain? Its a fictional game that takes place in a wasteland. How is it violating principles of warfare?

Sighhhh....Too big to cross most brides. Can become entangled in the rubble of bridges that get blown up while he's crossing them. Is a mini nuke magnet. Is a mini nuke land mine magnet. Is so big it's impossible to miss. Etc., etc., etc.

He's built according to a completely different design philosophy that renders most of the issues irrelevant, because he can navigate without bridges and is so heavily armoured that only specialized artillery can even scratch him.

The technical details of his construction aren't provided to us, but as has often happened in the past, particular technologies can render formerly sound principles obsolete. Who knows, if the Great War hadn't broken out, giant robots like Liberty Prime might have become a common sight on the battlefield.

But whatever else we can say about him, his powerful weaponry and defenses certainly fit with the Brotherhood's way of doing things. He's what every little boy in power armour wants to be when he grows up.

@DouglasGrave: Your theory might be possible in a world without the physics of aerodynamics and therefore the ability to fly. You know, dropping big bombs on that huge pile of scrap gotta be fun and easy.

Sounds like a recipe for eyebeam-baked aircraft. Prime wanders around dropping nukes on his own feet, and the only weaponry that has ever proven effective against him was mounted on an orbital platform.

Have you read up on fallout lore? LP was meant to be used in anchorage, and china didn’t have mininukes.

@DouglasGrave: If you want to believe that, its up to you. Some people also believe the earth is flat, so you are not as far off as you could be...
