Getting nothing but t45 suits?

I'm at level 65 and every power armor suit I find is t45 wat is going on


to be more specific, by the time I moved into the cells that had the majority of the power armor locations (such as Everett Estates downed vertiberd) I was at level 24+. I tend to play in a specific method to avoid the majority of the cells with power armor until I get to minimum level for t60 and x01 spawns.

Some suits of armor will always spawn in t45 or t51, but even suits that should be levelled - like the south boston military checkpoint - I was nowhere NEAR that until level 30, at which point, it gave me a suit of t-45 .__. which had me sitting there staring at it and scratching my head. or the levelled suit near abernathy farm, or near the charter school along the road linking the taffington boathouse + jamaica plain settlement. All these power armor suits which SHOULD be levelled are in fact...NOT levelled. Its almost as if every suit on the map is at a default level 1 spawn...which is confusing me to pieces.

Even recycleactor isn't working.

But all in all, make good with BoS and you'll get your own T60 PA just for joining, complete with a repair bay in the Prydwen and all the loot you can carry (just be careful with the bay numbers, stealing a PA will get you killed).

I like survival, I don't like everything survival does. I don't like being locked out of console, locked out of saving, and more. Sure I can use mods to reduce its easier to just imitate it without using it at all.

Yeah I played on survival once and a few hours in was like "yeah, this sucks. it isn't for me", and I've never played on it since. If you can and love to play on survival, kudos, but that's not an enjoyable experience for me.

It gives several point where you can get X1 parts (think you must be at least lv 32).

Nuka world. In front of the power plant is a small maintenace chamber with a closed and locked door. Behind this was in my game a full X1 armor.

Bobbies quest in Goodneigbor let you run into some X1 parts.

Near the military academie is a small maintenance bunker (guarded with a sentry bot and with some ghouls inside). If you are high enough it can be a X1 armor.

Near the big jons scrap yeard is a military checkpoint, here you can get an X1 too, if you are high enough. You usually past it if you free the fort for Preston.

South of Natick, just before you enter the Glowing Sea stands an abandoning power suit, here also X1 possible.

Somewhere in Bosten on a top of a building stands a full X1 usually (need to be high enough).

Near the settlement in the southerns Swamp is a crashed Vertibird. There you can also found an X1 armor.

And that are not all location where you get one.

If BoS vertibirds started to fly around (won't tell you when, in case you didn't know yet) you can follow them, they usually go for missions and 1-2 soldiers die. they have full t60, bos version. free for the taking.

Vertiberds, speaking of which, have an annoying tendency to try and aggro EVERYTHING in the immediate area. I often run after the BoS ones trying to keep them alive as they fly in to the center of downtown and take fire from pretty much every raider and super mutant out there, lol.

when you actually go up to it is it still T45 because there is a glitch that happened to me where the armor looks like t45 or T51 but its actually T60 or advanced power armor (or XO1 as it's called in this game)

Reaching level 28 is maximum power armor spawn. If you avoid all the power armor spawn cells until level 28, you will get the best possible one for that spawn.

You can also strip the armor off the frame and sell to the Atom Cats for T60 parts. At later levels they sell X01 parts.

For me they always sell T-60.

I prefer the look of T-60 over X-01 anyway. I have a whole bunch of X-01 suits though. There's a number of locations that spawn them, actually.

Must be rare. After more than 1800 hrs, they have never sold anything but T-60 for my chars.

I played around 3000 hours.. I have seen other type of parts there

In one of my playthroughs i was collecting 2 sets of every power armor types and i had a t45 helmet missing.

my character level was too high and there was no way to spawn it naturally.

after many tries i found one t45 helmet there and completed the collection.

sleep there for days and try everyday.
