Switching from survival to normal and back

Please, if I switch from survival diff level to normal and then load some old save do I get survival mode or still normal?

You will get to keep the last save that "was" survival. Any save after the switch to normal will be normal, and you cannot swithc back to Survival on those new saves.

But you can load a very old save and play survival from there

You can enable survival mode again once disabled if you use a console command. Type in the following:

cgf "Game.IncrementStat" "Survival Denied" -1

Then enable survival mode again.

Someone already posted this, but you can change from survival to normal, but to go back you need to load the last survival save, loosing the progress you made in normal. But without console commands or any other exploits, no you cannot.

Before using that console command I want to be sure that I can go back to the old survival saves if the command doesn't work.
