Console command to change followers hairstyle

Hi,

I wanted to change Caits hairstyle without changing anything else.
I've allready tried "showlooksmenu 00079305 1" which lets me edit Cait.

But as soon as I change her hairstyle her face changes to Noras default face.
Is there a way to keep her original face and just change the hair?

You can't without mods.

If you install "looksmenu" mod you can open the console, click on her and tipe slm command.

I think there are more mods that allow you to do that, as AFT

i get the same problem here, as soon as i change the hair, the whole face changes...

Are clicking on Cait and using the slm command? I doubt other commands works to.

Have you got any mod that edit Cait? If other esp is editing her it will probably conflict with the looksmenu editing

Objectively false. There are dozens of YouTube videos on how to do this with console commands without the use of any mods.

Odds are he has a mod installed that already edits that character.

I have a 2 mods for new companions (Heather & Vex) else i only got the "Tea Party Companion" mod which allows me to hire more than 1 follower.

I have no mods that change the appearance of vanilla followers.

you can do it without mods you just need there base id and slm and make sure you tfc for freecamera and sgtm 0" to stop time and "sgtm 1 to freeze time to edit the hair and tm for hud on or off you dont need mods for that

Use the "Cheat Terminal" mod- it'll let you do anything from spawning in a brahmin, giving yourself a thousand pipboys, giving Piper a scary neck tattoo and everything in between.

I've got all my settlers using vault 111 suits for a uniform for example.

Also the face issue is because you moved to fast and clicked something by accident via lag, most likely.

You can't do what OP is trying to do without mods. I always use Looksmenu and Looksmenu Compendium together. As long as you have F4SE installed then you can change the hairstyle and keep her regular look.
