You should provide your loadorder and modlist here so others can better help.
(i would never do that)
I totally did that
If it was more than a year ago when they did the first big CC update...I would say (I could be wrong, but I don't think I a) that save is hosed.
Double check you have indead updated all your mods. Pay special attention to any .dll files in Fallout4\Data\F4SE\plugins. If they do not have a date later than June 2019 they are the first thing I would focus on.
Oh and disable weapon debris in advanced graphic settings (accessed through the Fallout 4 Launcher) just incase you have a Card effected.
And definately post your Mod list and Load order.
Hmmm. Good question, but I aint ever really seen version compatability errors with Fallout 4 game saves. I know for other games it is a very common thing.
When you uninstalled the game did you delete both Fallout 4 folders (Steam and My documents) because it could be something was left behind and got carried over into each new installation.
More concerned with the older mods. I believe (and being a little Hypochondriach here) that first CC Rollout changed the way PIP boys are (made them an inventory object to be changed at Workbenches). Not sure how that affected Mods like AWKCR (sp?) or other mods. I think that was the update that killed the launcher mod enabler and inserted the Bethesda.net mod thingy and I quit playing for a year over that, so I missed all the Hullabaloo.
Should read:
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
I have no idea why you would bother using CBBE without Bodyslide. How would you get any skins to the right size of the custom body?
Wouldnt cause your crash, but your clothes would look funny.

bInvalidateOlderFiles = 1
sResourceDataDirsFinal =
(I forgot this in the [Archive] comment)
BodySlide never used, only presets for faces. I am satisfied with the body of CBBE vanilla, which comes with a mod, it converts outfits. Clothes look fine.
In their defense That might have been a part of an edit so ....doesn't count. Eyes miss things.
