Can I still get the pipboy app for Android ?
So far all I can find are dead links to the Google Play store a few watch faces and another couple of sorted apps but not the App that is supposed to tie in with this game. I can see it listed in the apple app store but not for Android ?
Am I doing something wrong ? Is it not available for Android anymore ?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Just search the Play Store itself.

I tried it a couple months ago, it's still there.

It may not be supported by your android device, it would be hidden from the store if that's the case.

EDIT: Went looking, couldn't find it. Looks actually like it was pulled off the Play Store. It's not really that helpful anyway. Just a toy.

It also didn't always work.

Thanks for the further info. With the App store it is sometimes difficult to be sure about 'the state' of an App.
Also helpful to know the PipBoy App wasn't that useful. I thought maybe it worked as a full pipboy replacement for Tabbing out in game to access Inventory, Health etc.... Good to know,
Thanks again.

You should check out some videos of the Pip-Boy app online. It does indeed work as a full replacement for the pip-boy. That guy who said "it was just a toy" obviously didnt try it himself.

You can access the map, weapons, health etc. Its basically a second screen fixed only on the pipboy. I came across your post as I wanted to find the app again for my tablet. I had to search for the APK as its not on the store and it still works great :)

I have the tablet sitting below my big tv at my desk and I use it for just the map, its a cool feature. It was made to be downloaded on phones and placed in the pipboy case for the people who bought the special edition of the game. Just search "fallout pip boy android apk" and try to install it. thats how I got it. hf dude :D

Since it's and APK would you know if that means my phone would have the be "cracked,"? That is not the right word but I can't think of the thing that can be done to android phones to allow you to install third party apps etc.

Not at all. : )
Just when you download it, make sure you "Allow installations from third party sources" in the settings menu.

Okay thanks.... Shortly after the original post my video card stopped working . (Nothing to do with the game) I could try to continue with my setup the way it is, but at 19 hrs in I will mostly likely wait till I upgrade before continuing. Strangely due to hard drive errors (same system) I lost saves to both Fallout 3 and New Vegas when getting very near the end of the main story line.
This will give me some time to find the Pipboy, which I thought was a great idea, and really enjoy the game.
Thanks again for your help.

The map is genuinely the most useful aspect of it - it only has the Commonwealth main map installed, but the local maps work everywhere. I've wondered about playing a ’no pause’ version where you did all pipboy actions this way though - anyone tried it?

it's the must have app , makes the game so much better , you can buy it at the Atom shop or the creation club for only$30.00 , it comes with a canvas bag and a bottle of Nuka-Rum

What are you talking about? It doesn't cost anything and you dont buy it from any store. False info.

Tried to on my 1st playthrough :) makes the game much more immersive.

I've just restored my phone and I wondered where it had gone... Fortunately I have the v1.2 here on a separate backup.

Any idea why it was killed from Play?

According to bethesda

"The Fallout 4 Pip-Boy app has been removed from the Google Play Store due to incompatibilities with current requirements."

Such a shame too, as it would've worked great with a smartwatch.
