Things To Do Before Killing the Nuka-World Raiders
If the player has never met Preston Garvey yet, there are no consequences for completing the raider's questline in Nuka World. Before killing all of the raiders and then meeting Preston in Concord, what are all of the things you need to do before killing all of the raiders if one wants to be a completionist? Here are all I know so far.

- Talk to Mason at the beginning of Nuka-World and obtain the Problem Solver rifle.

- After the Grand Tour, collect all of the tribute stashes from each park so the quests don't sit in your misc.

- During the quest Home Sweet Home, obtain all of the grenade recipes each from Lizzie of the Operators, Mason of the Pack, and Dixie of the Disciples.

- Finish the main questline and win your two raider perks.

- Talk to the remaining gang leaders and get unique weapons from them.

- Max out affinity with Porter Gage

- Establish 8 raider outposts to get all three stars in the Wasteland Warlord perk. (You get nothing from it since your raider settlement decorations disappear after killing them, but it looks good being completed in your perks.)

-Keep triggering the Amoral Combat radiant quest until you fight the Rogue Knight to obtain the unique Never Ending Gatling Laser Gun.

- Trade with all of the raiders in each settlement and take all of their weapons so it's easier to kill them.

And that's all I know so far. Did I leave anything out? I'm about to liberate Nuka World right now myself, but I want to be sure.

Good job with your points. I give all the gang leaders bullets to eat, so I never get very far with them.

But I do have one question, can one do the Amoral Combat after killing all the gang leaders? That quest has never triggered for me and I assumed it is because of Open Season being done so early.

Oooh I forgot to add Amoral Combat to the list! Thanks! No you can't do Amoral Combat after the raiders are dead.

You do get to keep most things you've already built in those outposts, including some very useful things like stills, Pick-Me-Up Stations, and outpost tribute chests. You won't be able to build more, or place them again if you store them, but you can keep the ones that are visibly built.

There's also another big thing to remember with those outpost tribute chests. Before attacking the raiders, make sure none of them in any settlement can be easily reached by any NPC, because if they try to loot them for weapons during the fight, it will instantly crash the game. I like to stick them up on high scaffolding.

Oh that won't be a problem. It has never been in my past playthroughs. I do all of this even before unlocking any other settlements. And I never really keep any of the raider stuff for my settlements. Pick-me up stations aren't very Minutemen-friendly!

The outpost tribute chests are a problem even when initially reclaiming the outposts from the raider gangs, since when I say any NPC, that includes the raiders you're going in there to fight.

As for the Pick-Me-Up stations, personally I like something that produced a continuous supply of chems in exchange for a little bit of electricity. :steammocking:

it doesnt matter tbh.
you can kill em anytime. The only real reasons you wanna maybe get them for a bit is to get the tributes, radiant quests, the gauntlet challengers (For the unlimited ammo gattling lazer), and some raider items in other settlements.

you can also setup them in the nuka world for their tributes.

Imo though by the time you are able to get / go to nuka world all the stuff is pretty null and void.

Luckily there are mods to get all the stuff, complete all the nuka raider missions faster, or setup nuka world parks as regular settlements and unlock all the raider items without the requirements.

you can also just ~tgm which will turn on god mode and place whatever you want.
