I think he was referring to your profile picture which i guess is a good titted woman from fo4.
Anyway im downloading the tool you suggested and taking a look.

Well thanks for the clarification because honestly, I didn't know where he was coming from. FallRim tools is a wonderful utility and it can do a lot more than what I mentioned.

For example, if you have orphaned scripts in your save, they can crash your game at the most inopportune times. FallRim can detect these and even clean them from your save file, sometimes recovering an otherwise corrupted save. Check it out

I don't think ill be capable of understanding how that tool works,at first glance it looks so complicated...im an average user who just download a mod and install it,tough i started installing them manually years ago and recently mess around with the orders and compatibily issues for mods that modify the same thing and i have to decide what need to load before and after and stuff like that, vortex have made this easier but still messy for me.

It really isn't that complicated once you take a look at it. When you open your save file, the app will tell you if any orphaned scripts were detected. To remove them, just open the "Clean" menu and select "Remove unattached instances".

Then make sure you save your newly cleaned file. Its ok to overwrite your save file since the app will automatically backup the original save.

Do not worry about it. You were just trying to get your game running again. I got you. These savefile tools when used wrong can ruin it further for you.

Even when you have 20 mods and the game shows you only the first 10 missing ones when you load an old savefile can one use the list to install the first missing ones, and then try loading it again to see the remaining missing mods. It is easy and can be done step by step until all missing mods have been installed. No tools required and no messing around with savefile.

Mess around with it once your game works and best you do backups before you try it out.

And what this does exactly?

Eh..right now im trying to figure out why some mods are missing/ simsettlements 2 said it's not there ( i deleted the old one and installed the updated one,on the site they said to delete the old mod and workshot mod and re-install again, and some of them i think they are required me to install them how they were, the different option i can choose,ex the save said that MiscHairstyle.esp is missing, but i can't find it on my mod list/nexus)

Whenever a mod is uninstalled in the middle of a playthrough, they sometimes leave behind elements that are permanently baked into your save file. These usually are orphaned scripts and while some are harmless, others can crash your game when you least expect it. Thats why its NEVER a good idea to uninstall a mod in the middle of a playthrough. It's always better to just start a new game.

FallRim Tools will detect these orphaned scripts and provide you the means to remove them as I stated in my last post.

EDIT: MiscHairstyle is NOT found on Nexus. Just google it and you'll get a link to the author's blog

So for exaple if i want to update this mod i have to do this? But somehow after i deleted and installed the updated version is missing the esp and it's missing master.

This is what i suppose to do for update my mod:

Before updating any mod, check out released patch/version notes or special instructions regarding the changes the impending update introduces. Since Xbox cannot revert back to a previous version of a mod, extra precautions must be taken to ensure the update does not corrupt your current save file. Only update if absolutely necessary!

To update Workshop Framework, Sim Settlements 2, or any Sim Settlements 2 add-ons:

Make a hard save on your current game (no quick saves, autosaves, or exit saves).
Favorite Workshop Framework, Sim Settlements 2, or any Sim Settlements 2 add-ons, and make a note of their location within your load order.
Disable and delete WF, SS2, or any add-ons that you want to update, and then clear your cache to completely remove the files the mods might have left behind in your game.
Open up the in-game Mod menu and re-download WF, SS2, or any add-ons you wanted to update. When you download/update mods on the Xbox, they are automatically placed at the bottom of your load order (unless they are a Master file). Be sure to rearrange the mods back into their previous order (example listed above in Initial Installation). Exit the game and start up Fallout 4 once again to complete the download/upgrade process.

If you uninstall a mod and then install an updated version of the same mod, you shouldn't have to worry about orphaned scripts. However, if you uninstall a mod, load your save file and continue playing without the mod, thats where the problems may start.

I honestly can't help you with anything Sim Settlements since I've never personally used that mod in any of my playthroughs. All I can say is to follow the author's instructions to the letter and hopefully, you won't have to start again from scratch.

I never opened a game save yet but i don't understand why the esp of this mod isn't showing(sim settlements 2),i solved all the others by putting the correct option i have for them and re-downloading the mischair thing which i forgot i downloaded outside nexus.
Edit i think ill pass on that because i have to modify some files etc..and im getting lazy ,what happens if i load a save without it,i will be bald and npc aswell? ( i downloaded this mainly for a better looking piper)

Edit : this one

The updated version of what you're installing MAY have eliminated that plugin altogether which is why you can't find it. Just double and triple check that particular mod to make sure you've installed all the requirements.

The procedure you listed in your previous post is what people call making a "Clean Save". There is no such thing in reality but thats besides the point.

By uninstalling a mod, loading up your save game, then making a NEW save, you're basically cleaning out the remains of the missing plugin so your game no longer complains. You can now install the updated mod.

EDIT: About that Piper mod, if you downloaded the PRESET VERSION, your mod manager won't put it in the right place since the json file is missing the correct install path. You'll find it just dumped into your data folder and you'll have to move it manually to Data/F4SE/Plugins/F4EE/Presets.

The REPLACER version should work fine

So to re-instal this mod i have to enter the game on that save, save the game and install the mod? If yes i don't think i can because this mods adds "procedurally-generated"settlements if loaded without the mod i will delete all settlements i think.

Disregard what I said about "clean save". I must have misinterpreted your post. Just follow the author's instructions

Maybe i undestand the problem.

The missing mods are ss2.esm and ss2Extended,esp and there are a main file and the extended version i suppose as optional,i've downloaded the extended one so in theory i don't need the main file??Or do i need both?
(re-downloading the first one alone and see if it works and sorry if i bother you)

I can't even answer that for you since most mod authors would indicate somewhere if the MAIN file is required. I don't see anything on his mod page that says that so I have no answer for you. Personally, I'd check out the SS forums thats linked on the mod page. You might find the answer there.

At first glance however, I'd tend to agree with you.

Lol, I know it can be a long tedious process since I've done it myself when installing the game on a new rig. Good luck to you and enjoy the game.
