[MOD] A question for those who use GRIM: The Curse in their playthroughs.
How do you actually disable the curse? I've looked through the menu in the apparel section of the inventory and talked to the girl in the white dress, and I cannot seem to find any sort of setting that disables the curse itself, just the different types of enemies that spawn.

I never did find a fix for this problem. If you haven't already, do NOT uninstall the mod without first finding out how to disable the curse completely; it bricked my game with constant CTDs. I would tell you if I knew.

Technically, as listed on the Nexus page, the correct way to disable the mod is to disable the GRIM Pip-Boy and then disable the curse. I disabled the Pip-Boy, but never could figure out how to disable the curse entirely. I could only like, halfway turn it off via the enemy settings, so I never had the curse effects but it was still a requirement for my save. I think the hard toggle for the curse is supposed to be in the settings menu, but the way the menu is designed is incredibly convoluted, so I couldn't ever figure it out.

GRIM is a great mod where it functions and l00ping is a genius but unfortunately I feel they really fumbled the way the settings work for the mod. I've dealt with my own idiocy in modding, so I wouldn't knock them if I felt I was at fault, but I can't blame myself or anyone for having difficulty disabling this one. It's just very complicated for no reason.

I found something and this is for thos with similar situation and want to disable the curse.
SPOILER!!!
There was a obscure youtube video that showed the player asking the girl in white about the curse. This would lead you to a isolated witches hut. She will direct you to a library to find a book that unlocks medicine to treat (remove a stage of insanity) and or cure (disable the curse). But for thos who want to cheat it in and using the console try help "blacked morphine" 0. once used this should cure the curse. or so i thought as a bunch of the weird guys appear before me... then again i think if over exposure there can be triggers left over.
