Any mods recommended for a winter or fall environment?
I know of a few, but I wanted other inputs on ideas for mods to add to my game for a winter or fall environment for my play-through. What kind of mods would you think will make it immersive?

Fallout 4 Seasons.

You really only need two main mods if you want to have seasons in Fallout 4. The months are shown in the Pip-Boy menu so it doesn't make much sense to me to have only one season for the entire game.

Commonwealth Conifers Seasons effectively replaces the "Fallout 4 Seasons" mod. Its better in pretty much every way visually. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41320 You will still need to change files manually to match the season your game is on though.

The weather and lighting mod "Natural and Atmospheric Commonwealth" has options in the Pip-Boy Menu to allow coloring and weather patterns to match those of the actual month in-game. It will actually change automatically too. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7657

Project Reality Footsteps also has a snow footstep sound if interested. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/35904

But, do these mods change that silly dialogue "Can't wait to get out of this g@n heat"? Even without seasons, that dialogue is silly. But then there is a mix of characters wearing jackets to just a T-shirt.

There is not a whole lot that you can do to have characters wear season appropriate clothing. That would take a whole lot of work.

You can however fix that line from Cait with the Companion Dialogue Overhaul. The mod page specifically references that line too. The mod makes it so they don't hardly ever repeat the same lines over again. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41785
