Decided to revisit Peabody's house..

I decided to check up on Billy and his family, but when I loaded up to their house and walked in, I saw Billy and his dead mother. I was like "What the hell happened.". I tried finding his father's body, to no luck. Anybody had this experience?

I haven't, but it sounds like dad killed them and joined the gunners.

Probably nearby Super Mutants or Gunners or Ferals got them.
And since children are immune to death so Billy was spared.

Oh Billy was still alive? I guess if he can survive two centuries in a fridge, the usual commonwealth critters won't trouble him.

Strange. According to that the Gunners can't hurt them, so it must have been something else.

I use the mod called Amazing Follower Tweaks. It has the ability to "recruit" almost anyone into a companion or a settler. I used in on them and sent them to live in The Slog. They should be safe now.
