Save up all of that meat and cook it I guess. It's always nice to have it sitting a workshop so you can get it whenever. Set up some farms at your settlement so you can get some easy food.
Water should be very simple.
I would say stimpaks but I honestly don't use them that much. I either don't need them or I get 1 tapped, lol. I remember I used to stimpak all the time, now not so much.
I find enough of the other meds.
Save some extra ammo in the workbench I guess?
and a nearby base to your operations. to sleep.
That's too bad. For Survival, the vertibirds I found to be extremely useful. One big draw back to them however, is not being able to use them in Far Harbor or Nuka World. Far Harbor esp, begs for something like that to use.
It's hard to think of things you would need to stock up on before enabling Survival, rather than just collecting them once Survival starts. You can't stock up on antibiotics or (useless) herbals, as they don't exist until you enable Survival.
It might be good to move ammo where you want it, especially heavy ammo like missiles, fusion cores, shotgun shells, .50, since it will have weight once you start Survival, and you will have less carrying capacity. (And no Vertibirds, apparently.)
Survival is really easy, just hop into it. If you're looking for a challenge, look at "frost" or "horizon". I enjoy zombie runs using mods like "rebalancer", "survival settings", and "zombie walkers". Throw in "darker nights", "true storms", and "boston natural surroundings" and you won't even recognize the game. YOLO runs are good too, MATN on youtube has many series if you are looking for inspiration.
Thanks. But I do not use mods. And I like the combat in Survival. Most of the rest, sucks.
And I do not find it hard. The combat can be challenging, which is why I like that part of it. the rest is just a bunch of unrealistic and unnecessary restrictions which do not add anything to the game I like.
I am happy playing the game on Very Hard.
