December 2019 patch?
Since this is on Steam, shouldn't that have already been installed? Or are there some platforms that support launching the game without updating?

Did you see that in a loading screen (where they usually discuss creation club)? I saw this and wondered the same.

Skyrim Special Edition has the same notice, except it says November 2019. Perhaps those patches updated the games' Bethesda account client to support TLS 1.2 and their servers finally sunsetted old TLS?

PC version is Steam exclusive, so all PC patches are applied automatically - unless intentionally halted by players with F4SE setup.

Current runtime is: 1.10.163. If you have this - and you should - then you have the most up to date PC version of the game.
