Game crashes instantly when trying to remove (scrap, stash) objects at settlements

It functioned even when I had mods installed. I don't know what is causing the crash. The game also crashes instantly when I turn on the anti-rad shower and enter it.

IF you are using an rtx20xx or other card in the series it may be the weapons debris bug if you have not already disabled weapons debris otherwise it could be a mod related issue where something changed the load order etc.

Already got weapon debris disabled and installed a mod that fixes that.

Are you saying it happens with the scrapall command or when scrapping individual objects?

Then we would need to check first to make sure temperatures are not getting to high as I had a similar issue when my GPU fan failed (the game would start having a random CTD) then if that is not the issue we would have to check that each mod is still installed correctly and there are no conflicts.

If you are getting silent CTDs, like crashing to desktop with no message. It may be the bug, I guess about.

You probably had scrapped a power object in your settlement before and broke the power network. It usually happens when you remove an object with a power line attached to it. I lived that before.

there is an f4se plugin to fix it. there are other tools here too, you only need 0005 one.

It's got nothing to do with my GPU. Game runs fine otherwise. It's just that deleting objects crashes the game for some reason.

Workshop > point mouse at target > stash/scrap object.

I'm having the same problem today - restarted twice to try to clear the issue - no mods running - can't scrap more than 2 or 3 things in a settlement - then my system locks up tight - no more mouse - no ESC - nada - zip...... Definitely feels like someone made something More Better out there and broke the code. Other Steam games ( age of empires ) and non-steam ( minecraft ) seem to be working fine - other apps working fine - it's just steam FO4 locking up tight - here's an event log capture - Log Name: Application

I tried removing all but FSE, unoffical patch and see through scopes and it fixed the crashing at Sanctuary and going through decontamination. I'll see which of these causes the crash.

Edit: I don't know why, but even though I have all but the hotkeys mod installed, the game doesn't crash anymore, for now. I did remove the mod in question because it was useless for me, but I'm not sure if that is the source of the crash.
