I want minigun mod like this
english bad.

minigun is too weak.
Is there any mode that changes the required perk of modification?

ex) all upgrade required perk
gunnut rank4->rank 3

I found damage increase 8->12
but I can't found change perk

Do you JUST want to make the vanilla mini gun stronger? If so:

However I would recommend Skibidaa's miniguns. They are all very high quality and useful from start of game to end of game.

Vanilla minigun is garbage after early game. It will take you hundreds of bullets to kill something that you could kill with one or two with other guns.

but I like vanilla game, I've seen that mode, too. I think that mods are too overpower.

I just find change perk rank with this mod.

because the only thing that's useful is Tri barrel upgrade (high powered minigun)
but level 39 (gunnut rank 4) is too high.

If you feel like learning how to use fallout 4 edit, it would not be hard to do. Actually I could probably do it in a few minutes if you want.

No problem man. I still recommend learning fo4edit if you get the chance, it makes tweaks like that simple to do.

Most of the time weapon mods apply a modifier to the weapon's base damage. So the mod to increase base damage to 12 should still be working.

That guide is for another mod I use called Caliber Complex, it shows you how to patch weapons to use the calibers from that mod. It also covers how to edit important values on the weapons and add new constructibles if for example you want to allow a gun to use a different caliber or have higher damage.

Those were the videos that got me started on it and I kinda learned the rest myself. Hope that helps.

Edit: I just checked to make sure, the damage increase mod still works with mine. Just enable them both. My file was tagged as an esl so it will not hurt your max mod limit if that was something you were concerned about.

(from id 0001f669 -> damage - base 8)

and I need Tri barrel and accelerated barrel (short). not only base damage.

It's fine. The thing you want to change is the base damage on the weapon itself. If you look in that mod you linked that changes damage to 12 instead of 8 the thing you want to change will be there.

The highlighted value there is the only thing you need to change. Since weapon mods apply a multiplier to the base damage instead of setting it to something specifically, changing base damage will affect it on every weapon mod that has a damage multiplier.

All vanilla weapons and *most* modded guns use a multiplier instead of a set value, I have seen a few modded guns that did use a set value though.

If you want to change the multiplier on the mod you will need to go to object modification in fallout 4.esm and find minigun tribarrel there. It will be a very long list since it will include every weapon mod in the game.

When you find it the value you will want to change is highlighted there. The property that modifies "attackdamage" should say mul+add. On this one the default value is .35, which means a 35% damage increase from the gun's base damage. You can enter a negative value here to reduce a weapon's damage as well.

Edit:

I forgot to mention, don't change the value on fallout.esm itself. Right click the weapon mod and click "copy as override into" http://prntscr.com/135csjr. In the new window pick .esp with esl tag so it won't count towards max mods http://prntscr.com/135cyn6. Then you can name it whatever you want. Never change a value on fallout 4.esm itself.
It may seem like a lot to learn but once you get the hang of it modifying weapons and armor is quite simple.

I mean I want to change base damage + barrel modification damage + your mod (gunnut easier)

so tri barrel 'value 1 - float'
when I change 0.35 -> 2.0
35% increase -> double damage. right? like equilibrium mod minigun
*I don't know 35% increase in vanilla 8+2.8 =11
but in game, tri barrel damage make 10

so
base damage normal minigun : 12 (mod)
tri barrel upgrade minigun : 24

so can combine with your mod?

A value of 2.0 would be triple. You are adding the percentage to base, so .35 is 135% damage. 2.0 would be 300% damage. You would end up with 36 damage in your example.

If you want double do 1.0. Make sure to check my edit though, never modify the fallout 4.esm itself. Copy the record as an override into another .esp or make a new one.

Edit: as far as 35% increase making 11, it rounds down. So 2.8 becomes an increase of 2 which makes 10.
