CBBE is NOT setup to recognize UNIQUE PLAYER and will only replace the body mesh in the VANILLA location. When you have UNIQUE PLAYER in your game, the player's body mesh is NOT in the vanilla location.
TL:DR version: READ the mod page and set it up the right way.
There's different versions of Unique Player by different authors BUT if you're using the version by d_rail1602, there's a patch for CBBE that will put the body mesh in the right place. Just remember, it's made for d_rail1602's mod.

You have to build the body using the UniquePlayer slider set
So, good news and bad news. Good news is, my player gets completely naked when I take their clothes off now! Bad news is that it still reverts to vanilla body shape. I opened up bodyslide and tried to edit the body that way, I saved it and clicked "build" but that didn't do anything. Also, when I try to make a new character, it now gets stuck on the loading screen.
If you're NOT using the patch, you have to build the body while holding down the CTRL key and THEN MANUALLY move the body mesh from the Bodyslide folder to the proper location for Unique Player. If you're just hitting BUILD, Bodyslide is putting the mesh in the default vanilla location.
Please RE-READ my previous post
I used the patch but I don't see anything called a UniquePlayer slider. Where is that located?
Make your body preset and save it with a unique name. Make sure the body preset you just made is chosen in the LOWER drop down. Then choose UNIQUE PLAYER CBBE BODY in the UPPER drop down. This will build the PLAYER body mesh in the right place for UNIQUE PLAYER.
Hit BUILD and you should be good to go
Also, since it seems like you're a little shaky with how BodySlide works, I strongly suggest that you read the mod page and watch a few of the thousands of video tutorials that are readily available.
While BodySlide is designed to be as user friendly as possible, it wouldn't hurt if you increased your knowledge about how the app works and where it builds the game's meshes, especially if you're going to use unique player and follower mods.
Last Edit (I promise) : As far as I know, there are no "patches" for unique followers. Those you'll have to do manually.
Otherwise it only affects certain things.
Advising the OP to "Batch Build" is a terrible idea, and I'll explain to you why:
When you click "Batch Build" in BodySlide, by default it selects every single outfit and body that is listed in the Outfit/Body dropdown. If the OP is using that Unique Player patch, this will include the "Unique Player CBBE Body". When he now hits "Build", BodySlide will build EVERYTHING to his selected preset in the "Preset" dropdown.
That means that his Unique Player body AND the CBBE body that every OTHER female in the game uses will be EXACTLY the same, which defeats the whole purpose of UNIQUE PLAYER.
So yeah, terrible idea. What he really needs to do is pick and choose WHAT he wants to batch build.
Anyone using Unique Player has to take this into consideration since while its nice to have the best boobs in the game, you now have to pick and choose what armors and clothing you'll be using for your unique body. Everything else will have to be built to a DIFFERENT preset if you really want your player to have a Unique Body.
Personally, I've always felt that Unique Player is more trouble than its worth. I don't see what the big deal is for having a different body anyway since you kill a raider, you strip a raider and you move on. But then again, thats only my opinion.
not that hard

Yeah but you didn't say that in your original post. You just told the guy to batch build and now you're trying to make it seem like the OP should somehow know this when it's obvious that he doesn't. Here's your post just in case your memory needs to be refreshed
So yeah, still terrible advice.
i'm trying to help not ask for your opinion
point is it still didn't work either way
imo best to start with everything enabled then work down from there.
Honestly I'm not that interested in the unique body, it's just required for some other mods I have. It's been quite a pain so far.
Thank you though! I will look for the unique player slider.
So I found the slider (I had installed it incorrectly) and I did it as you described, and clicked both build and ctrl+build with no luck.
Building the body is only one step in a series of many. If you're totally confused by now, I suggest you uninstall Unique Player and the unique follower mods, reinstall CBBE so the CBBE meshes and textures are restored just in case something got messed up.
Now you need to read the instructions for your unique whatever mods, reinstall them and make sure you copy all the necessary files from the DEFAULT game locations to the Unique locations.
Other than taking a ride over to your house and doing this for you, I can't be much more help since you need to follow the instructions on the mod pages exactly as stated.
And remember, I said in one of my previous posts that the patch was created for Unique Player by D_Rail1602. If you're using any of the other versions by an author other than D_Rail1602, I doubt that patch will work.
