Fallout 4 Assault Rifle Best Bullet Weapon

I think Assault Rifle stealth is the best bullet weapon, when they cant hear
Bullets is the best Bullet weapon in Fallout 4 Def favorite to use.
Can fire tons of bullets fast in round, as is quiet,they cant hear wheres coming
from, there are many in the game, but getting the best there is very
Effective wining most battles and from hiding using like sniper rifle.
The damage is great.
Was there Assault Rifle in other Fallout games? What country made the weapon?

The "assault rifle" in the game is a ridiculous retool of what in development was a light mechine gun for power armor. Now, silenced SAWs and even LMGs do exist, but as-is the weapon is rather silly. Liquid-cooled LMGs were a thing in WWI among countries that couldn't make something like a BAR or a Chauchat.

It's not strictly required to be water-cooled with that look, since I remember there was a gun design or two that had something like that as a shroud with internal fins, and the extra volume of the design could make it easier for people to handle in power armour.

Speaking of which, am I the only one who finds it a bit weird that super mutants and power armour users have no trouble operating normal triggers with those extra-chunky fingers? It looks especially bad when you see a super mutant cradling a tiny pipe rifle.

But note how the shroud is symmetrical around the barrel and very much open at the front.

The assault rifle does have visible fins sticking into the back of the barrel section in the long and short barrels, and there look to be a couple of notches cut into the front of the short one, which seems weird for water cooling. There are also tubes (for the long, short, and vented barrels) leading from the barrel section into the piece underneath, which the game counts as part of the receiver.

Well, it IS supposed to be the top-tier ballistic gun for anyone who levels Commando.

For all around use, no rifle beats the Problem Solver or Splatter Cannon for performance in full auto, perked Commando.

The legendary effect "Furous " only appears on those two riles and melee weapons. That effect is awesome on a automatic weapon.

Yeah, you can chew thru some ammo using it, but the Ammo is not that hard to get actually. By the time you get to Nuka World, you should have plenty of caps and the trader in the Merchant building, normally has around 1000 rounds of it for sale.

And if you have perked into pick pocket enough, you can get a lot of the ammo by stealing it off all the raiders there. Or go to some spawn points away from the gang leaders and kill them.

Anyway, that is my opinion and I am sticking to it until someone can prove I am wrong. lol.

Eh, can't argue. DLC weapons are almost never properly balanced against vanilla.
