Why do you want to sell them though? They always look nice on those rotating magazine stands and shelves. I collect mine and display them in my "bar" area at Sanctuary, using a brighter magazines mod ("Easy to see glowing mags") so they stand out a bit more.

That is normal for the economy in the game. And even in the real world, you sell something to a merchant and then try to buy it back? Going to pay thru the nose.

That Missile launcher is waaay over priced from Kleo. You can find one from drops which will be almost as good, and cost you nothing. FO4 requires some patience.

You can sell the magazines and bubbleheads and not lose the perks they give. I never sell them, because I like using them for display.

by level 10 you should be able to build enough power and many water purifiers in Sanctuary, then sell water continuously for endless amounts of cash.
unlock settlements/locations with merchants and then warp-travel back, to sell them pure-water.
on and on...

by level 15 yo should literally swim in cash

my last F4, was level 30+ iirc and in all my settlements, had a total production of 3300 water per 2 days cycle (or 2 and 1/1 days ?)
sell that at 10 (up to 16) and you will get minimum 70.000 credits per in-game week;
then play the game
but now your back is covered !!!
never sell fancy named guns / armor that you can use or put on display ...
just sell tons and tons of water.
