Valery Barstow disappeared while exploring the vault
The overseer of vault 88 has disappeared whilst I was exploring the vault and killing all the enemies, I do have a load of mods installed stuff mostly to do with Sim Settlements 2 and I've looked online for literally anything that can help, this is kinda a last resort cause the only save I have before entering vault 88 was back at vault 111 and my character is level 29 on survival so please help because I do really like this DLC and what it offers

God, I hated Vault 88. Played a tiny bit of it when I first got the game. Six play throughs later, I never give it a second thought. Sorry I couldn't help with where she might have gone.

Thank you, I like the addon because you get to preform ♥♥♥♥♥♥ experiments on people for a bit.

As a preplaced NPC, Valery Barstow should have a standard reference ID, so if you could temporarily switch out of survival mode, and use console commands to locate her (probably player.moveto REFID). Then reload a save still in survival mode and use what you found out. As long as you don't save outside of survival mode (make sure to disable autosaves in your options while doing this) you shouldn't be at risk of accidentally overwriting an existing save.

If necessary you can do the same with your pre-vault save to find out her reference ID by locating and selecting her with the console open. The wiki lists it as (xx0042B5) and it should be a consistent since she's a preplaced NPC, but the numbers to replace the XX part will depend on your load order. The Vault-Tec Workshop DLC is "06" by default if I remember correctly, but it depends on what you have.

It's 05 actually and I've tried that, I've teleported what should have been her but there was nothing there cept a quest marker that would normally be right above her head. Thanks anyway, I'll probably have to bite the bullet and just start over, take the chance to update my mod list like get some new ones and then just be more cautious with my saves.

If it still treats her as a valid target for moveto, but there's no sign of her, the likely answer is that she's been disabled.

You could try enable on her, but it may not work if whatever disabled her in the first place is still applying. It can't hurt to try it, if you haven't already done so.

It offers a ton of crafting and building mats. Also some really nice experience. And the settings you select for the experiments, those carry over for those items if you use them in other settlements. So you can help with the settlement happiness if you pick the right ones.

It is also one of the easiest settlements to defend against a attack. If you leave the end of the one sector which leads to the Commonwealth at the back sealed off. leaving only the main entrance open with the Vault door in it.

OP, more than likely a mod is causing your issue. Which one is everyone's guess. After more 2300 hrs play time and at least 10 play runs, she has never disappeared on me. But I use no mods.

Use the following console command to select her refID:
prid xx0042b5

(Where "xx" is the expansion load order)

Then type:
Enable

Hi there! Idk if im to late but you can bring to you use commnands. First you have to select her using "Prid prid xx0042b5". Try to use Enable. If that not works you can use "Resurrect" to reboot her. I hope works for you

Thank you! Seems to be an issue with getting rid of and rebuilding the desk. Also, this worked for me too.
