Why, in the name of all that is holy, would Bethesda want to directly compete with EA? Let alone the fing Sims. That's like competing with Ford GM, Microsoft (pre-breakup) and the Sineloa Cartel all rolled into one. Would you want to create a soft drink which had to directly compete with Coca Cola?
We have more new drinks trying to rival now.
And yeah, trying being the operative word.
EDIT: I don't know if you've noticed, but Bethesda actually ran out of original ideas a LONG time ago and it's not stopped them from making a crap load of money.
Endzone, Surviving the Aftermath, Atomic Society, Frostpunk, etc.
Are they rated well?
But have more depth what can build. Maybe for Star Field?
