Why is Armor in Russian
Please help all my armor names are now Russian and I don't know how.

Game is in english, and set to english.

EDIT: Found the answer, just a translation mod that had it's whole name in English.

Have you recently been adding any mods that alter armors in any way?

Likely, you downloaded a mod that is in Russian. You'll need to check your armour mods and see if you downloaded the Russian version by mistake. If you downloaded it from Nexus, the different versions are often all on the same mod page.

You are probably going to want to roll back to a save before you installed that mod and install the English translation version.

Since we can not see your mod list you are going to have to figure out which mod it is.

I use vortex, the modloader plus the script extender, with some other junk. Want me to show you the mods?

Just go find the mod that is in Russian and remove it and then start from a save before you installed the mod.

If you can find out which mod has the Russian, and if you find the right one with English instead, then you might be ok with your save, if you uninstall the Russian mod, and at the same time, install the English one. Technically, everything should be identical, except for the armour names. And that shouldn't screw things up for your save game. However, if not, then, as Bored Peon mentioned, you are going to have to go back to a save before you installed that particular mod.

You must. Otherwise, how would armour types all of a sudden have Russian names? You simply might not be aware that it was in Russian. It didn't magically happen out of nowhere. Something similar happened to me on a play through a year or two ago. Turns out that the mod I was using had a Russian dialogue embedded in it. The title of the mod was in English, so there was no clue that it had it in there.

It should be fairly obvious the OP has an armor mod displaying Russian and most people do not have more than a few armor mods that affect all existing armor. So it should be a quick easy fix, however the OP has not been very helpful in finding the issue.

It is like the OP is purposely going out of the way to not get help.
well all i know is that the russian fps fix (the 8gb one) needs a english esp as a seperate download and mcgfemale walk comes with both an english and russian esp simultaneously

I found the mod, it was a translation deal that was for some reason all in english. Like, the name was.

Don't get salty when I cant find the issue, it's why I ask. I'm new to modding, translating, and even more.
