Fallout 4 Endless New Game Start Loop

My Fallout 4 gets stuck in an endless loop whenever I try to start a new game, I have tried countless times to fix the issue but nothing has worked. I am surprised that I have experienced less issues with the game on console than on PC.

please give more information, where does this loop take place, what is looping?

If you are using mods, some mods have a dialog that ends up popping up before the mirror unfogs, hitting enter will clear it and the start continues as normal, which is my first thought based on the limited description you've given

I just recently bought the game. I don't have any mods downloaded and I wanted to start a new game, but it just keeps endlessly booting.

ok quick google search, this could be an overlay issue. right click the game in your library, select properties and uncheck "enable in game overlay".

Relaunch the game and see if it loops you still.

Yeah I had this same issue on a new PC install a couple of months ago and it was the Steam overlay glitching.
