If there is one thing I know about the mod is that it doesn't always work properly. It does but using that holotape to activate the mod and then reactivating it and choosing the presets doesn't work. I deactivated the mod via holotape and when reactivating the mode, it doesn't work. However re-installing the mod may help and NPCs get their masks back. Whatever you do, do not use the holotape. Uninstall it by Mod Manager and re-install it when you want to. I think that's the solution because I don't know anyone who had success by reactivating it via holotape since it didn't work for me.

It's a great mod, but with a lot of bugs too. I just install and done. Never used the holotape for anything, i just select the preset (Medium) and done. Mod in standard already have everything i'll need.

In many cases with mods, the holotape is only there as a backup plan in case regular installation fails. A backup plan with a poor chance of success.
