True. SE was mostly just a tech refresh from 32 to 64 bit and DX9 to 11 plus maybe a bit more multi-threading/better script engine to help the performance and modding. Enabled by the earlier release of FO4.
no Fallout 4 anything, just fix the bugs so we don't have more of this

On top of that the game is already horrible at graphics memory optimization. I have to restart after every trip into any high resource area because people start having blackface. That is even with a 8gb 2070 RTX video card.
If so I wouldn't buy 4 remastered
But definitely would buy 3 and new vegas remaster
I haven't even played them because graphics look like ♥♥♥♥ now
Just started 4 and it's fine but plagued by bugs in quests and dialogues
But no I think 4 doesn't need a remaster
They should make a better 5 without repeating old msitakes
That is odd. I do not have that resource issue with the black faces. I am running all settings on Ultra ( except for Godrays which is on med. and I also have wetness, screen reflections turned off ), with the Nvidia HBAO+. The game does slow down some while in downtown Boston, but not enough for it to be a issue with myself.
I am not using the High Res dlc. Never have. I think Fallout 4 looks really good , esp with the close ups of the npc's faces. Very notable are the named ones and companions. And my char.
As I have stated before, i do not think FO4 needs a remaster.
3 would be a good fit for remaster (but I hear the GOG-version works fine).
Just splashing on shinier graphics is always worse than original I always find.
PLEASE BGS, put some time inte the NEW games.
What day in Nov? It is Nov. 13 and it is still up and running for FO4.
If they would remaster Fallout 4, they could remaster everything.
Things they could remaster:
1.) graphics and design
2.) How to pass windows (except for buildings where the entrances have a major role)
3.) the entire rooting / pathing for NPCs (like NPCs which stay on settlement buildings, friendly and enemy NPCs which are being stuck within walls or which don't follow settlement orders (like in the Slog: you build a bar on farm land and the bar keeper still acts like a farmer and looks for his/her corn))
4.) you shoot and your enemy flies 20 m into the air (like being hit by the harry potter express bus)
5.) enemies which are being stuck within the ground
6.) enemies and NPCs which are under water (for some weird reason)
7.) my preference: out of a set radius (like 30 m) loot should be deleted from the map. So that you aren't getting any loading issues later on.
8.) controller support: like grenade throwing and settlement building. Make it easier to handle.
9.) No Building-Limit for Settlements. Or if so... then kinda bind it to the settlement-population. That makes improving the population more interesting. But I personally prefer the "no limit"-option
10.) All Buildings must be enter-able and have an intern-life. Why placing buildings like objects onto the map which have just the meaning of surrounding them? Either place some interesting NPCs there or make it just for exploration and looting. But just buildings with 4 walls on each makes the Hulk scream.
If I'm finding the mood, maybe tbc...--'
