Scrapping armour and weapons
Hi,

I'm wondering what's the best way of doing it. Which guns are best to pick up? Should i pick up only modded weapons/armour? Do they provide more?

I am only scrapper lvl 1 , so i have been scrapping all unmodded currently, and saving my modded guns for when i have scrapper lvl 2.

Any other tips? Thanks.

Edit:

I'm not doing any settlement building, i purely want the materials for my own weapons and armour. (and robots)

If you have scrapper, then your looking for modded weapons.

For instance, lets say you have scrapper 2 and can scavenge nuclear materials. If you scrap a gun with a glow sight(uses nuclear material) you can scrap that nuclear material back.

I think if you scrap modded weapons and armor without scrapper you just get more basic stuff like wood, steel, screws and such.

Can you get ballistic fiber from Scrapper 2? And what types of armor have it?

Given the unlimited supply you have access to, saving anything for later is kind of pointless IMO.

You can indeed get ballistic fibre from Scrapper 2, but what you're looking for are the armour mod parts on the piece, rather than the type of armour.

As you might expect, the armour mods that yield ballistic fibre are the ones that require ballistic fibre to craft. Specifically, the asbestos lining, dense, padded, and pneumatic torso mods.
