Please Help: Memory leak? Constant random crashing even without mods.

Whenever I load a game save, the game just CTDs within 5 minutes each time. I've tried with no mods, low graphics, nothing in the background...but nothing works.

I'm beat, I already ran sfc /scannow, found 1 corrupted file and fixed it.
Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic, nothing happened.
Viewed Task Manager, whenever I restart my computer and make sure nothing is running, my memory is always running at about half which is about 4.6 GBs of memory out of 8 GB, so that makes me think theres a memory leak going on.

Already verified file integrity.

Please help...I'm at a dead end.

Does it crash with a new game?
If the laptop is using a GTX1600 series card, is weapon debris disabled?

Are you using hard saves, not the auto saves on wait, fast travel or quick save, these will cause this (corrupted save file) restart from a hard save or start a new game.
Any mods? if so list them.

Didn't you even read the guy's specs? He has RADEON GRAPHICS. He won't even have the "weappn debris" option.


OP, that lappy has integrated graphics and I'm assuming a discrete video card when you say "Radeon Graphics". Make sure the game is actually using the Radeon card and not the integrated graphics. Also, it would be very helpful if you said WHAT Radeon card you have.

The CPU is an APU with the Vega 6 graphics and I googled the specs of the model of the laptop OP listed, that model comes with a GTX 1050/1650/1660/1660 Ti

yeah almost gauranteed to just be having the Radeon as the default video device.
Gotta disable onboard graphics properly in the device manager or BIOS for some games.

You realize that requires the game recognizing the card right?

The game literally does not recognize cards made after like 2018?
So then you get a default graphics options.

Laptop is new, Weapon Debris is off. Haven't tried a new game.

I hardsave (save option on menu, not quicksave or autosave) and loaded the game back from both exitsave or hardsave, no prevail.

Win10 system specifications setting doesn't tell me precisely which. (I think.)
And yes, I have all those setting options. (Wetness, Weapon Debris, etc.)

Update: Started a new game and in about 10 minutes or so of character customization, the game just CTD'd on me. No mods at all, just the DLCs.
