Weird sanctuary glitch

The past and present versions of sanctuary are merged together with the different assets flickering in and out, and a bunch of shrubbery with missing textures. At a real loss with this one any suggestions appreciated

The pre-war and post-war Sanctuary's are 2 separate locations. You can visit pre-war Sanctuary with "coc PrewarSanctuaryExt01" in console.

Do you have any start mods or clean and simple mods installed?

no start mods. by clean and simple do you mean mods for quick scraping settlements or allow for more objects to be scraped?

No there is a mod call "Clean and simple" which changes Sanctuary houses, roads to new ones and also removes scrap.

Your problem sounds like a mod, like "Repaired Sanctuary Roofs", "Clean and Simple - Sanctuary Startup", "Sanctuary Homestead - Postwar Edition", etc and whichever mod it is conflicting with another.
Any mod that change Sanctuary needs to be at the bottom of the load order. I run a lot of those types of mods and load order is essential.
Ignore weapons, bodies and armor/clothing what mods do you have?

They literally are explained in the post above.

if you aren't using any forms of mods, including from bethesda, something else is probably very wrong with your game. But if you have a start-up mod or anything else, it's not installed correctly or is broken.
