T-51 power armors best power armor

Throughout all fallouts even in 4. It's just an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unit. Helmet looks like a missle warhead, and the rest of it looks like pieces of bomb shells or tank plating. Probably a double meaning the railroad choosing it as their base power armor since it literally looks like a power train painted all black. Pre-4, T-51s are supposed to be the highest grade military power armors not including enclave armors. The T-60's just look like someone pumped the T-45's with steroids or nano machines.

X-01's imo look slightly better than the previous enclave power armors but doesn't hold a candle to the T-51's.

T-51 is the best normal non specialized of the power armors

Jokes aside, even though you upgrade it to the last model (Model F), T-51 is still weak, but stronger and durable than T-45. I chose over T-60 or X-01 if I want to, but T-60 parts are all over the place. Atom Cats and BoS have them. Others are pretty much rare and can be found only on specific places with Power Armor stations, especially T-51 that you said it's good.

T45 will always be the best looking PA for the brotherhood. The T60 design looks horrid and is just a T45 copy thats more bulky. Plus the fallout 3 x02 design looks better than the x02 design thats in fallout 76.

There is actually a mod that does this, you are completely immune to damage (maybe radiation too) as long as your armor remains intact, once it gets destroyed you can take damage but only if shot in that spot again. To compensate for how powerful this ability is armor does have less health than normal.

On a side note I always deal with the Glowing Sea in the same way, I use the "Mysterious Serum" to counteract the radiation, that gives you -10 radiation a second (and +5 strength) for a real time hour. Plenty of time to get to Virgil's Cave. You don't even need to really complete the quest to get it, some raiders near the Asylum have several Vials.

i can agree that the T-60 looks like utter ♥♥♥♥

the T-45 is the standard though since the OG fallouts they always use the T-45's for the BoS. Still think the T-50 is superior in every way though.

You can straight up run over to the Atom Cat's and nick a T-60 at lvl 1 if you make it there without dying, or leveling up.

Depends on how you want to play your char. As a stealth player, power armor sucks. if you want to go all "stand in your face " melee/rifle type, then yeah. they are great.

I find it disappointing the Hazmat suit can not be improved with ballistic weave.

Thanks for the tip and the mod does sound like it makes the Power Armor more realistic. However, I do not use any mods. Not knocking those who do however.

After playing to level 74 as a all around soldier play style ( use whatever is the best for a situation ) doing the main story quests for Vanilla and Far Harbor. I am now playing a strict stealthy style ( no rifles, only melee and handguns allowed ) I am wondering if I can reach the point I can deal with the enemies in the glowing sea by only wearing a hazmat suit? lo!.

Part of the fun in the game for me, is picking and choosing what you want to do and how you want to.

Even tho I like sci-fi, gameplay-wise I rather play a long distance stealthy character.
I have tried multiple melee characters, even tried to use PA's, it just doesn't fit in my narrative of being effective.
Certainly, certain situations would make PA's more viable or even would be the best option, overall it slows me down way too much to enjoy.

Aside from that, PA's are not really that badass, as in my opinion, as they should be.
They really look cool tho and I can definitly see the charm in using them.

The T-60 is the superior design in terms of aesthetics.(It or use cool looking mods)
Slap on DT(Damage Threshold) Stats & all armors good.(Holdover from New Vegas)
Cannon wise I give the enclave armor less condition hp.(Holdover from New Vegas)
I Give T-60 More condition hp because duh this THICC.(So need anymore be said?)
